Re: The Magical, Wonderful, Sigavvie Generator!
It has been eight years since the Magical, Wonderful, Sigavvie Generator ate my money, and I would like a refund, please.

Re: Drinking The Tap
I always drink tap water from home, but we have a well and a filter. I've never actually given any thought to not drinking tap water since I've always been lucky enough to live in a place with well water. If I'm going out, I do like to fill a bottle of water at home and take it with me. I definitely...

Re: Nancy Drew PC Games
My sister had nearly all of these Nancy Drew games growing up. I no longer live in the same State as my sister, so I've been buying the digital copies and replaying each one in order since about July of this year. I'm up to the Curse of Blackmoor Manor right now; I'm nearly finished with it. Oh, ho...

Re: NBC's live musicals
It was absolutely awful. I can't believe I actually watched the whole thing, but I kept thinking 'it must get better at some point, or why would they have produced this?' But it never did. I don't think I've ever seen you give quite such a scathing review, bookworm. I think that's my cue to never, ...

Re: Is there an ... intro thread?
Aaayy CBH! The old stomping grounds. I was under the impression at the time that there had been some pretty intense conflict amongst a specific group of people. I don't remember details, but I do remember being bothered enough by some of the stuff that I saw posted that I actually took steps to rep...

Re: Will Ryan has passed away.
Thank you for sharing. I'm glad Will Ryan was able to record this and that Katie Leigh was kind enough to record it for us. I definitely cried through the whole thing, but I'm thankful we got a chance to hear him say goodbye. The Top Crusader wrote: ↑Sun Nov 21, 2021 1:47 pm Final message from Will Ryan:

Just saw the news. I am sadder than I know how to say. Will Ryan will be incredibly missed.

Granted! The FDA has just rebranded brussels sprouts and kale as candy.

Re: What books are you reading?
A while back in this thread, I think Catspaw mentioned she had read Hurricane Boy by Laura Roach Dragon, and it sounded interesting, but I wasn't able to get it from the library until a couple weeks ago. I enjoyed it! And it was definitely a unique perspective on Hurricane Katrina. I'm currently try...

I know it's not quarantine anymore, but I'm resurrecting this thread because I'm just so dang proud of this delicious cake my sister and I made from scratch. :inlove: (I tried putting it in a spoiler, but that shrank it down to a really tiny size for some reason. :-k ) https://i.pinimg.com/564x/5a/8...

What is your secret to conflict resolution? I'm always impressed by how tactfully you handle the disagreements that crop up on the ToO from time to time.

I just started Pride and Premeditation by Tirzah Price, which is a retelling of Pride and Prejudice as a murder mystery. It's good fun, and I'm really enjoying it so far!

Hi, welcome! :D There is an intro thread that you can post to here: https://www.thetoo.com/viewtopic.php?f=41&t=1115&start=8340 It sounds like the forum you're talking about is CBH? I was a member there years ago, so it's fun to meet someone from back in the day! I'm glad that this crazy yea...

It looks like the Olympics are back on!
I have to wonder how differently things might have turned out if not for the extra year. Athletes who were at their peak last year might not have been able to maintain it all the way through to 2021.

Re: What did/do you do on long car rides?!?!?
We used to play the license plate game, but that always got ugly because someone would spot a good license plate and then NOT TELL ANYONE until it was out of sight. :x Other than that, I read a lot. We listened to lots and lots of AIO and Radio Theatre. We sang Jingle Bells in the middle of summer i...

Re: The Falcon and the Winter Soldier
I was kind of underwhelmed by the final episode. :/ I felt that way about the finale for WandaVision, so now I have the sinking feeling that's going to be a theme with these Marvel shows. It seems like they try to constrict the show into a more typical action-movie format for the last episode, but ...
