Re: What Not to Read

Actually, I have trouble thinking of any book that I read in its entirety and didn't think I was better off for having read it. You are insanely lucky, then. I would think just about everyone has a couple books that they regret wasting their time on. For instance, I can't believe I blew two perfect...

Re: What Not to Read

Oh, hey, new books to add to the list! \:D/ Well, if you're looking for free Kindle books, stay away from "A Bride for Tom" by Ruth Ann Nordin. ...unless, of course, you're in the mood for some serious laughs. I guarantee that most of the girls in the audience will laugh their heads off wh...

Re: Car Accident

I'm afraid I'm in the same boat as some other people here, in that I don't really know KF, but my heart breaks to hear this. He and his family will be in my prayers.

Re: Doctor Who Series Preview

Hrmm. Rather mixed feelings on this episode, plus an extra helping of confusion on the side. Not even sure how those things were Clara, or how they came to be (and they've obviously been around for a while, because the Doctor knew what they were), or what the whole thing at the end was about. "...

Re: Spotting (or hearing) AIO Actors

I was watching this kind of lame movie last night called "First Daughter", and Natalie O'Hare (Jenny Whittaker and Mary Hopkins) showed up as this weird and rather creepy old lady. It was sort of bizarre hearing "Jenny" say that stuff. :p And she didn't look at all like I imagine...

Christian A. wrote:Was there a book that Aubrey was using when Seth was teaching her how to evangelize?
Could it have been All Things to All People, or is that merely the title of the episode? :? Also, in 'All Things to All People' (the episode) I believe Aubrey mentions a book called Meet Him on the Rooftops.

Re: The Old CBH Message Boards...

I do believe there was a girl on CBH with the username 'bookworm' ....and I think it was The Artful Dodger we know here. :-k I wonder if there were two bookworms on CBH... Because I'm still good friends with one 'bookworm' from there, and she definitely isn't The Artful Dodger. This has actually be...

Re: "Lost Time" is now available for purchase!

Ahh... Well, the idea is probably to increase awareness of the book on Amazon, so maybe do both? \:D/

I hope this made it onto my Kindle okay. It's been having issues lately... But if everything worked, "Lost Time" is next on my "to-read" list!

Re: "Lost Time" is now available for purchase!

I'll see about reviewing it. So long as you properly direct us to the amazon location. However I warn you now, I'm very honest. (And you may get a review with only bad comments, it's sort of the way I work. I mean, you don't need advice on the good parts, you need to be told what strikes people as ...

Re: Doctor Who Series Preview

I feel like it's a spin-off from Amy, what with her being a child and all. So why does it still make me so happy? x) The raggedy Doctor is back! I feel like he was a different person for Season 7 thus far. :- And a bit of 6. Season 5 was his best, probably. ;) I'm not sure I really see anything of ...

Ahh yes. I remember the Search for the Lost Kingdom... Ahh, memories. What was your username? Mine was Jonnyboi121, later changed to ~HyperKid~. Oh, bother... I'll probably regret owning up to this, but I was Galadriel, the wonderfully immature-yet-living-under-delusions-of-maturity twelv...

Re: Doctor Who Series Preview

Only a week to go, and a prequel to hold us over! \:D/
And so many AIO parallels that could be drawn, what with the first few seconds eerily reminiscent of Aubrey and Whit in 'The Big Picture', and the end strangely like Whit and little Jenny in 'Recollections'...

Re: Has the Soda Shop Board Officially replaced thetoo?

SnC was a user here who died in a car accident almost two years ago (March 25, 2011). Well, an overview is nice, but is that it? That's the whole reason for all the quiet fuss I see? Was she a well known big poster? What initially happened when she died? Was this "Movement" founded then? ...

Oh man, the good old days. No links or pictures. And heaven forbid someone actually find out how old you are! :p We did used to have some pretty awesome RPGs on there. Re: Has the Soda Shop Board Officially replaced thetoo?

If you think a bunch of twelve-year-olds spamming up the place with so-called "mature debates", and occasionally remembering to post in their bajilliion other AIO topics and forums is cause for alarm, then yes, the ToO is headed for trouble. *coughs* \:D/ The word "unmature" did...

Re: Has the Soda Shop Board Officially replaced thetoo?

Petrichor, I have enjoyed your posts thus far. This one is rather non-sensical. First, of course our board might appear to you as 'unmature'. It was designed for people younger than you, obviously. \:D/ I don't see anywhere in my post where I said that all SSers were "unmature" (although ...
