Did AIO Prophesize Pop Culture Sensation?!
In "Odyssey Sings!", Eugene is told that the ukulele sound is going to be a sweeping hit. That was in 2005. Has anyone else noticed the use of that instrument in many popular songs over the last few years, like "I'm Yours" by Jason Mraz, "Hey, Soul Sister" by Train and ...

Re: Soda? Pop? Coke?
We probably do sound ignorant to people outside my area. Soft drinks have always just been 'Coke' around here, so naturally it doesn't sound stupid to me.
Btw, I was born and raised in the town that was home to the Schmidt Museum of Coca-Cola Memorabilia up until last April. Maybe that explains it?

Re: Soda? Pop? Coke?
In almost my seventeen years of life here in the South, I've never heard soft drinks referred to as pop. Not once. We call everything Coke. Sprite is Coke, Dr. Pepper is Coke, Pepsi is Coke, etc. I don't get that...how to you differentiate between uhh... a carbonated beverage and an actual coke? &q...

Re: Why I Hate Religion, But Love Jesus (video)
And no, Jesus didn't have a religion. Jesus definitely had a religon and that religon was Judaism. He did not come to free us from the Law, but to make it stricter. Check out Matthew 5:28. The laws of religon have not be loosened and made void, but have been tightened. I believe it was Ayn Rand who...

I would wish that everyone was saved. I know you can't wish salvation on people, but it breaks my heart knowing that billions of people will spend eternity in Hell without the love of Christ.

Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows! It didn't really feel like a Shrelock Holmes movies, but it was still amazing. The cinematography and special effects were dazzling, Sherlock's wit was incredible and the plot was epic.

Distance of Odyssey to Connellsville
This is something I've always wondered. How far do you estimate Odyssey is from Connellsville by driving?
I've always imagined roughly 45 minutes.

Re: How did you find the ToO?
I discovered The Odyssey Scoop in early 2007. That summer, I finally found the link to this site and clicked on it. I fell in love with this place immediately and creeped on it until the spring of 2008, when I finally decided to join. Now, I wish I would have joined a lot sooner. I could have achiev...

Someone To Watch Over Me and The Underground Railroad. They are my absolute favorites and are the very first episodes I listened to. They're so nostalgic and take me back to my early childhood.
