Re: Daylight Saving Time

The whole time shift is mildly annoying, but at least it gives me an excuse to be late to things.

Re: 016: No Stupid Questions

This was a good episode. I don't agree that there are no stupid questions, but I think a huge part of it is also a person's reaction to questions. Mr Gottlieb gently tried to answer Meg after everyone calmed down and he realized her questions were in good faith. You're gonna have stupid questions me...

Re: What role would you fill at Whit's End or in Odyssey?

I'd probably be driving fence posts down at Tom Riley's farm. I spent a good portion of last summer doing that for my folks.

Re: Combs, Hairspray, and a Brush

I've got a little patch of white hair on the back of my head. It's small enough that it doesn't like to show up very well most of the time though(because I take photos of the back of my head like a completely normal person). My parents first noticed it when I was about thirteen. Once a total strange...

Re: Places You've Lived

I stayed in two neighboring cities for college in past semesters, though I'm doing school online from home for now. I grew up a few miles outside a really small town of around 200-300 people(I don't care what they say, Odyssey is not a small town). One small thing I really missed when I was in the c...

I should have known better than to get the St. Paddy's Day Special haircut. I think I'd be better off with the slime.

Re: Underrated Episodes

I think Mistaken for Good is probably pretty underrated. It shows some rare maturity for Jay, who is hilarious as always.

Re: 017-018: A Member of the Family, Parts 1 and 2

And Whit has a TV? I wonder at what point he ditched it. I don't know when he ditched it, but I know the why. In Isaac the Benevolent, Whit said he got rid of his tv because he's somewhat of a "tv junkie" and can't get anything done with one around. It's a remake of an Officer Harley epis...

Re: The Classical Music Thread

Nice! I'm not huge into classical music, but once in a while I really enjoy it. I really like Dvorak's string quartet No. 12 'American' His other America inspired works I've heard are pretty good too. My sister is in grad school for music and teaching singing lessons, so whenever I'm around her I ge...

Rusty: Here's some money, Mr. Whittaker. Uh, keep the change.
Whit: Uh, thanks, Rusty.
Sam Johnson: They're up to something...
Whit: They sure are. He was 15 cents short.

"We're all out of onions anyway. I'm guessing that you don't want to try garlic tacos then?" She joked. "Oh no," he replied, "Anything but that! Besides, garlic always makes Lawrence talk in a Transylvanian accent and pretend he's dying" He heard the clock cuckoo severa...

Re: Favorite audio Bible?

Does anyone know a good one that's not dramatized and without music preferably in the NASB? My folks used to have a dramatized ESV one, but the voices and music were so overdramatic and off-putting to me that I couldn't stand listening to it.

Re: Random Tidbit Discussion Thread

There's a really cool(not literally) method to heat a small house using a little water heater. It's called radiant floor heating. Basically, when you're building a small house, you can lay small plastic PEX pipes under a concrete floor and use the hot water to heat the whole house. We put one in whe...
