So has anyone listened to her song "Haunted"? I was really surprised...she has definitely expanded out of her stereotype this time and I LOVE it.
What do you all think? Should she do more songs like this?

Re: I need relationship advice
What about a phone call? Skype? Smoke signals? Why can't I be serious today..? LOL. Morse code? Anyway, in all seriousness...what EK said is true...Long distance relationships are tough, especially if we're talking a new or not-currently-existing one. I'd try to keep being friends with her and be t...

Bad days happen--just remember not to focus on the failure of the last session...When I was driving for police academy, I had one really bad day...the next week I would talk to the instructor and say "oh, I had problems last week..." or "oh, this part got me in trouble last week...&qu...

Sorry Not trying to make it broad...all you need to know is that microphone feedback is the obnoxious noises that the speakers make--the worst being the squeal, and it happens when the microphone is too close to the speaker. The Kings Daughter wrote:I dislike broad subjects.

Re: Life, life
I believe Dan is actually referring to microphone feedback...this is most often noticed in the high pitched LOUD squeal over the speakers that blows everyone's ears out. Re: General Prayer Requests
Thanks for the prayers...Turned out better than I even hoped and she brought it up to me before I even approached her and she apologized for the mix-up. So yeah, all is good now! :) While I'm at it posting here...should have mentioned this earlier...one of my friends really needs prayer--life hasn't...

Re: Christian Music Discussion
I like Relient K, and Tenth Avenue North is pretty good. Other than that, I don't listen to much Christian music. Honestly, a lot of it just doesn't seem like good music. The message is good, yes. But the music itself is often lacking in quality. Just my opinion. Have you ever heard Thousand Foot K...

Re: Bible Translations
Dude, calm down. I don't just trust/use ONE translation that I "grew up with". I think you are jumping to assumptions about my thoughts here...I haven't crossed it off, but I need more learning about it before I accept it in its entirety. You are right in saying (sort of) that I don't have...

The OCD kind that really wants to spell check the poll...lol. Hard to put a personality into exclusive boxes with words that are more interest-oriented than personality-oriented...this is more of an open-ended topic. I resonate with the intelligent and curious answer, but also have an adventurous si...

Re: Bible Translations
First of all, it's the NIV 2011 , and believe it or not the team that translated it actually knew what they were doing. Their goal was not to undermine or change their version from 1984, but to improve it and make corrections. No translation is perfect. Three different versions of the same text can...

Owie!! Praying you recover soon...at least if you keep everything on one side you just know not to move that half of your body, instead of worrying about various parts on each side!
And thanks for the prayer...call in the morning!

Re: Most 'original' film you've ever seen..?
Speaking of M. Night, I'm curious - did anyone who saw Sixth Sense NOT already know the ending? Because I feel like that was pretty much the most spoiled film ever. I saw it new, in the theater, so not spoiled. Because I'm old. :( I WISH I could have been old enough to see newly released films back...
