Re: 19th-century Whit

That's a really cool idea. Whit in that era could've seen the famous story of the first ice cream cone(though the waffle cone was actually patented first by someone else in 1903) at the 1904 World's Fair and have an idea to serve it at his soda fountain. I also think it would be cool if Dr. Blackgaa...

Re: Jurassic World: Dominion

I only watched Jurassic park a couple years ago(on VHS no less and even I fell asleep once when the landlord I had was watching it), so I'm not very invested in the franchise,(don't get me wrong, I liked the movie) but I loved watching the behind the scenes bonus features of movies as a kid. It drov...

Jason Whittaker: Jack, why didn't you just tie me up and lock me in a closet?
Jack Allen: I didn't realize that was an option.

Hey could I get some prayer? It's not too serious, but I've got a fever of 101 today and I'm pretty sure it's covid.

Re: Sleepiest Episodes

It's nice to have actual adventures sometimes, but "The Mysterious Stranger" is not a good episode to listen to when you're trying to wind down. ;) Ironically, I have fallen asleep listening to The Mysterious Stranger in the past. That odyssey album was the first album I bought for myself...

Re: What books are you reading?

I finally finished The Lando Calrissian Adventures trilogy today. It's pretty weird for a Star Wars book, but I thought it was amazing.

Re: Valentine's Day

I know a lot of single people like to be humbugs about Valentine's Day, but I enjoy any chance I get to celebrate something that makes people happy, even if it doesn't pertain particularly to me. I'm a humbug about it myself, but the real reason is because public displays of affection make me uncom...

It's too hard to pick a favorite, but An Act of Nobility is an interesting one. At least it's implied that it happened to Whit.

I finished Darth Plagueis the other day. Usually I love star wars books but this one wasn't that great.

I love this episode overall. It's the best Post-Bernard BTV by far in my opinion. I love the book the Count of Monte Cristo, but this adaptation was a little too weird.

Re: Stupidest Episodes

I hate to resurrect this after so long, but there's a right answer to this question: The Day After Christmas. This episode is rough and, honestly, pretty racist. Maybe it's just nostalgia, but I like that one. Get ready for my long rant about how a kid's radio show episode from the 80's isn't that ...

Re: Wooton Bassett

As far as the specific details about these roles: Wooton's best episodes and moments tend to be the ones where he is giving out, ministering to someone. This. It's easy to blame Penny(not saying you were doing that), but I'd think it comes down to what type of plot a Wooton episode ought to have. W...

I would say no, but everyone's taste is different. I love most of the MCU movies, but this one seemed a little bleak and depressing. It's humor was more "adult" (i.e. inappropriate) in this one too. The new Shang Chi movie was really good though.
