Re: 902-903: California Dreams, Parts 1-2
'Twas indeed very fluffy. I am really confused about mainly Buck in this episode... like WHAT ON EARTH? How? Why? Did Eugene and Katrina know that he hopped on a plane to crash the concert? Doubtful. And that doesn't make any sense whatsoever with his earlier worries and insecurities about his frien...

Re: Underrated Episodes
I'm trying not to make this an Emily analysis, I swear, it just comes out of me. This so put me in mind of Olivia from The New Olivia (Club Season 5) when her mom asks about the fake accents and she says, ”I can’t help it, Mom. It just comes out of me.” Which is an underrated episode itself, I thin...

Re: Favourite/Least Favourite Episodes
Is it wrong to continue a conversation from years ago? Oh well. Nah, I love reading old threads so it's fun to reopen them! I have many favorites. But I would say my top favorites (in no particular order) are probably... -The Forgotten Deed -Plan B, Parts 1-4 -The Top Floor, Parts 1-3 -A Sacr...

Re: Underrated Episodes
I have many episodes in my mind, but I will present three (technically five) for your consideration. I'm not pitting them against each other or anything, I just want to bring them more recognition for their own merits. So here are some episodes I find sorely underappreciated by fans: - An Adventure ...

Re: (Temporarily) Access Free AIO Episodes, McGee & Me, and More
I need to take advantage of this. I want to at least hear the first Young Whit book in audio form. I have yet to buy any of the Young Whit books, but perhaps when I hear the audiobook of the first, I will buy the others. I'm probably going to try to listen to some FOTF audio dramas, including Little...

I re-listened to "Always Home." Hits ya right in the feels. This episode is a gem.

Re: 902-903: California Dreams, Parts 1-2
On the subject of this episode and other recent ones, I think sometimes fans are too quick to jump into saying that somebody is portrayed in a way that is 'uncharacteristic'. In AIO, our first tendency is to blame the writers and say they got the character wrong if it doesn't meet our expectations,...

Re: 898-900: The Rydell Revelations - SPOILERS
I would just like to say I thoroughly enjoyed listening to the latest installments of the "Is Morrie good?" series. I got some new perspective. Fresh, clear, well-seasoned perspective. Please tell me someone got that Ratatouille reference. Well, I just had a 3 hour and 40 minute interview ...

Re: AIO Club VS Radio
<r>I always listen to episodes on the AIOC initially and for nearly everytime after. I buy some of my favorite albums on CD. However, I find it fun to catch episodes on the radio. I can hear if they cut out anything for the broadcast version which is interesting. Listening on the radio, knowing that...

Re: 902-903: California Dreams, Parts 1-2
I just re-listened to the episode again. More thoughts incoming. \:D/ First of all, there were a lot of references to a lot of things. The Wescotts, Tom's farm, and Buck's toothpicks ( which you better believe I will get to below ). I like callbacks and references so I found that to be a lot of fun....

Re: 902-903: California Dreams, Parts 1-2
So I actually wasn't a big fan of 'For A Song' but this one was really fun. That's funny, because I preferred "For a Song" to this episode but I still enjoy them both. \:D/ This episode surprised me in how extremely modern it felt. It's different for Odyssey. Not a bad thing necessarily, ...

902-903: California Dreams, Parts 1-2
"California Dreams, Part 1" is out! I heard it about an hour or so ago and I have thoughts. I will start this thread with a clean slate and let someone else give their thoughts first.

Re: 898-900: The Rydell Revelations - SPOILERS
I agree with you, Scientific Guy. I also really enjoyed hearing your discussion with Ryan. This brings me to a point I've been wanting to make but was unsure how to present. Scripture has been used by Phil Lollar and Whit and twice do I not like its usage. I agree with how you and Ryan discussed it ...

Re: 898-900: The Rydell Revelations - SPOILERS
How are we supposed to view past Rydell Saga episodes in light of what we have learned about Whit's involvement? I stand by my opinion that Whit's character and the morality weirdness in these episodes is by far the worst part of the saga (I really enjoyed everything else). But now we know that Whit...

Sorry for not responding to this sooner! I would LOVE to see another AIO blog in action! I know you would have lots of quality content to share, and I'm interested to see how you would structure it. :D Thanks for the encouragement! <3 I'm currently thinking of topic ideas to cover & how often I...

Re: 898-900: The Rydell Revelations - SPOILERS
I looove these thoughts, Brownie & MonkeyDude! =D> I agree with you on all major points here, Monica. I am not satisfied with Nathan's explanation. If anything, it removes all pretense that Morrie's motives have been in any way good and, in my book, turns John Avery Whittaker himself into the ch...

Re: A Question for Fellow AIO Fans
Thanks to those who answered the poll! I'm still thinking about doing this. I have spare time on my hands and I love looking in-depth at Odyssey. I have several topics in mind that I am eager to write and share with all my fellow aio fans. Maybe the biggest thing that holds me back is how many Odyss...

Re: 898-900: The Rydell Revelations - SPOILERS
Thank you for sharing this, Scientific Guy! This is really interesting and I'm glad we have an official statement. Rest assured that we did not come to the topic in question — that Whit knew that the escape room incident would occur and still allowed it to — in any light manner. There were many disc...

Re: 901: For a Song
I loved this episode as well. It felt really fresh. The dialogue felt natural for teenagers. I don't think I've ever heard the word "dude" used in Odyssey before, so that was interesting. I thought the script was strong. Big kudos to Abigail Geiger =D> I really enjoyed Buck and Jules's int...
