Re: Greetings Aliens
<t>Having grown up conservative Christian with certain passages being misused in such a fashion as earlier in this thread, I can tell you it is very harmful indeed. I entered into an abusive relationship as a direct result of the misuse of scripture by those around me. While that situation is unrela...

Those of us who no longer live at home are at a disadvantage. I could go through my husband's closet and create a wearable outfit.

Numbers which have as much negative meaning as any blasphemous or profane word in existence. Stop pretending to be ignorant and show a little respect. Oh I am far from ignorant. Which is why I don't have any spurious ideas about 666 being some sort of ultimate devil sign. Especially given there is ...

Her previous 666 was removed by an admin? Oh. That's dumb. I was unaware of that.
NOW IT MAKES SENSE. But not, because I'd say the authority is being belligerent for removing something as dumb as three numbers they don't like. :<

Refresh my memory on WHY putting numbers in your signature is "belligerently going against authority?" That's fuzzy for me.

My daughter isn't talking yet and it's sad because I KNOW she would say awesome things.
She's close though. SOON I SHALL HAVE CUTE CONVERSATIONS.

I was doing work at the coffee shop today and the consignment store next door had a huge bin of clothes that were $1.99. I bought three dresses, a couple of tank tops and a cute pair of white lace shorts. SCORE.

Re: Today we celebrate our Independence Day!
I'm excited to have the day off and spend time with my family. But this quote sums up my feelings on American nationalism, which I see a lot of on the Fourth of July. "There is absolutely no evidence to support the statement that we’re the greatest country in the world. We’re 7th in literacy, 2...

I bought gas yesterday. That was fun. >.>
My most recent online purchase was a set of tapers and plugs with which to stretch (or "gauge" as it's commonly called) my ears. And no, there won't be giant holes in them forever.

I used to play those all the time. I'm not sure if they make them for Mac though, and I don't have a PC anymore. I love them! Yes, I'm too old for them, but I loved the books as a kid and the games are both fun and difficult enough to hold my attention.
