Not all of Canada is that bad, though I do see your point, I wasn't very impresses with Toronto when I was there. The more remote areas and small towns are better.

On a lonely, desolate, island in the middle of nowhere. Ok it's not quite the middle of nowhere, is 5km to the nearest town/village I don't know which is the proper one, it has 5 people that stay year round.
