Re: The Eclipse Happened

We had over 80%, but I was late hearing about it and didn't get any glasses. I constructed a viewer out of an empty PoP-Tart box, where the image was projected on white paper inside...it sort of worked, but not that great. If I hadn't known about the eclipse, it would have been hard to tell it was a...

Re: 3-14

That is true!
My next big celebration is next week, when my youngest turns one...a Peter Rabbit themed party, I'm planning on making a cake that looks like a garden surrounded by a white fence with Peter Rabbit sitting in the middle. :D

Re: 3-14

I was out and about and busy yesterday, and I didn't realize it was Pi Day until I was in bed at the end of the night. I failed to make any pies, eat any pizza, or in anyway celebrate this momentous day. :(

Re: ToO Fantasy Football: 2023 League Thread

Since the NFL has discontinued their playoff challenge we have used in the past, my husband found a different site we can use for the postseason.
https://thesecondseason.com/football/
I set up a private league, TheToOStrikesBack (#26435) with the password thetoo if anyone wants to join.

I don't know why it was decided against or who did it...but every single year it annoys me to no end.

Re: ToO Fantasy Football: 2023 League Thread

Can I put in a vote to change our season next year to end a week earlier? All my other leagues have finished already, because this next week so many top players sit out. It's not really fair for the fantasy teams that make the championship to suddenly be without lots of their best players.

Re: Cheese

One of my boys hates cheese. :( He will pick any bit of cheese off of food, cries if I put cheese on something.

Yet...he LOVES pizza. Says there isn't cheese on pizza.

Re: How is everyone doing?

I'm headed up to Virginia soon to visit my family. Excited about that!
Right now, though....not doing too well, I hurt all over. I finally came down with the virus that has slowly been going through our house for 2 weeks. I thought I had escaped. Nope.

I was disappointed, I was cheering for Florida. My husband was cheering for Vegas, though.

Re: RIP Patch the Pirate

Yes, they release a new adventure every year. Several years ago, Patch's daughter and son-in-law have taken over the writing and producing. I own all the CDs and now also subscribe to the Patch app so my kids can listen easily in the car. https://www.instagram.com/reel/CrQlxHSL5JY/?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2...
