Re: #993: Facing the Music
Wow, I don't know!
I think this is a crucial part of Buck's and Jules's story arc(s), and I'm all for that.
Is Bill Kendall canonically an alcoholic? Tell me if I'm forgetting other episodes about that! I'm not so thrilled with the idea and wish it had been handled a little differently ...

I am liking Bridget more and more. (And wanting to smack Jules more and more. But she'll be ok. Someday.)

Re: 922: The Team
Yes, very unsettling. Though somehow still fun. I also think, as I believe I've mentioned on here before, that "kids do dangerous and possibly illegal stuff on their own to help people" plotlines were perceived really differently in previous generations, and it's hard not to listen to them through ...

I've been surprised how much Jay there is in this album. (Not a complaint! But did Whit Hertford offer a bulk discount?)
I liked this episode and the whole family was cracking up over the itsy-bitsy spider.

Re: Making An Honest Buck parts 1 and 2
I loved it. My family and I laughed so hard about Jason recruiting Buck...but maybe high-school-student-turned-undercover-informant is less unrealistic than I'd like to think. Not that I would ever begrudge the incandescent Kathy Buchanan my delighted suspension of disbelief, anyway.

I am not sure I have ever really liked a Renee episode; I just don't find her interesting as a character. I found this one strange, but also boring AND a bit hard to understand. Am I being too harsh?

Re: 976-978: The Rydell Realizations
Thoughts halfway through part 1:
Carrie is definitely shady.
Emily still holds a major grudge (maybe not unfairly) but is also immediately persuadable?
Does Morrie not know that Whit is super wealthy? Or has Whit frittered away his savings on failed inventions/Whit's End's clearly untenable ...

Re: Catching Up
This is a super hard question! I personally feel like some of the show's best and worse episodes have come out since then. I don't particularly care for most of the club episodes, but every once in a while there are great ones / series. I feel the same way about non-club episodes, although I agree ...

Re: 966-969: The Best is Yet to Come
Very cool. I'm sure there are so many easter eggs and references that reward repeated listening...but it's so hard for me to listen to everybody cry that I'll probably listen one more time and then wait for the Oddcast to give me the nerdy details!

Part IV
Sob city. I think this episode was basically a vehicle for everyone to express their sadness. I'll have to listen one more time to confirm my opinions, since it's not impossible that I fell asleep at one point or another, but even though this isn't one of my all-time faves, I'm glad they ...

Predictions regarding Pt. 4:
I'm holding onto hope that there's a reason Ted was on the plane.
Jules is not on the cover :-k
I had forgotten about that! I can't imagine it won't be a plot point, although it's hard to know exactly how it will play out -
he's not Wilson, or anything! Still ...

Re: 966-969: The Best is Yet to Come
Interesting thoughts!!
Like some of the kiddos have noted on the app, since this storyline is only halfway through, one really has to wonder what will happen that will take up two more episodes. Either it's an hour-long tribute with memories of Eugene (which is plausible given all he's meant to ...

Hey, does anybody know if the episodes are going to be released on the club 1 / week or if they will all drop at the same time? I'm assuming the former.

Ooh, I didn't think about it being a potential spoiler! I edited the previous comment.
But anyway, I love that folksy Skype thought.

Re: Album 75: The Best is Yet to Come
I agree re: Buck. It just seems so strange that they would start the Jules & Buck relationship after building up to it for years and years, only to be like, "whelp, now Buck's gone, deal with it, everybody!" Whereas Connie & Mitch got together basically as soon as they met. So unless their plan is ...

Do y'all think this is how the Jules–Buck romance gets resolved? Connie–Mitch style?

I loved this whole album and have listened to it an embarrassing number of times for a grown person. That said, I do have some questions. Maybe someone has caught something I missed and can enlighten me.
