I liked this episode and the whole family was cracking up over the itsy-bitsy spider.

I loved it. My family and I laughed so hard about Jason recruiting Buck...but maybe high-school-student-turned-undercover-informant is less unrealistic than I'd like to think. Not that I would ever begrudge the incandescent Kathy Buchanan my delighted suspension of disbelief, anyway.

I am not sure I have ever really liked a Renee episode; I just don't find her interesting as a character. I found this one strange, but also boring AND a bit hard to understand. Am I being too harsh?

Thoughts halfway through part 1:

Carrie is definitely shady.

Emily still holds a major grudge (maybe not unfairly) but is also immediately persuadable?

Does Morrie not know that Whit is super wealthy? Or has Whit frittered away his savings on failed inventions/Whit's End's clearly untenable ...

This is a super hard question! I personally feel like some of the show's best and worse episodes have come out since then. I don't particularly care for most of the club episodes, but every once in a while there are great ones / series. I feel the same way about non-club episodes, although I agree ...

Very cool. I'm sure there are so many easter eggs and references that reward repeated listening...but it's so hard for me to listen to everybody cry that I'll probably listen one more time and then wait for the Oddcast to give me the nerdy details!
