Re: What books are you reading?
Thanks Patterson. I appreciate it. I think one of the reasons I haven't made much of an effort to read Star Wars books is because I've heard variations of that kind of stuff from other people about hit-and-miss or the characterization seeming off. I am curious about the evil otter queen, so keep me...

Re: Carman died?!
I was sad when I heard on the radio that he passed. Even scored his Mission 3:16 cd at the thrift store just a few days later. I enjoy listening to his Christmas album every December as it's radically different than the same old christmas songs that play on loop for two months.

Re: Energy Drinks
I drink way too much Mountain Dew. It's not my favorite pop, but one of the better caffeinated ones in my opinion. I"m a type 1 diabetic who gets a lot of low blood sugar at work and pop cans last a lot better in a hot or moderately cold car than juice or candy.

Re: What books are you reading?
I love Han, so this is intriguing to me! I've never read any Star Wars books (other than listening to one Thrawn audiobook). I like Star Wars and reading so it seems like I should one of these days. Would you recommend it for someone who originally mostly wanted to watch more Star Wars because of H...

Re: What books are you reading?
I just finished The Han Solo Adventures trilogy. The author really didn't know how to write Han Solo to sound like Han Solo, but it was still entertaining.

Re: Random Things That Remind You Of The ToO
There's a gas station called Colville's Too on the way to my grandma's house. It's really weird because the gas station's in Rearden or Davenport and Colville is like 2 hours from there. Anyways, it always makes me think of this forum.

Re: 954: Legally Wooton
It has it's problems sure, but I enjoyed this one quite a bit. Between Terry, The Perilous Pen, and that one time Harlow accidentally claimed ownership of PowerBoy, poor Wooton's had to deal with art theft a lot. You'd think he'd be more knowledgeable about copyright considering all that (do you thi...

Re: Star Wars: The Bad Batch
We're only a few episodes in, but season 2 is really good so far. It has a darker tone, but that wasn't uncommon for the later seasons of the Clone Wars either.

If it doesn't have Dolly Parton singing Christmas songs about recycling, I'm not interested. https://youtu.be/nPyWqM9OmOE?&t=31

Re: Allowances
I didn't either. Every once in a while I'd be given $20-50 for helping out with loading/unloading hay though. Certainly not every time with 4 hay cuttings a year and at least 6 trips to my grandparents farm(we've got 9 horses and my grandparents grow some hay for us), but it was a nice bonus. Beside...

Star Trek: Strange New Worlds
A new Star Trek series called Strange New Worlds just came out. Here's the trailer: https://youtu.be/XL4iCAB6MFo It's a prequel series following The USS Enterprise about ten years before The Original Series. My thoughts on the first episode: It was alright, but just alright. Captain Pike's first off...

Re: Post the last AIO episode you listened to!
I listened to The Mystery of the Clock Tower the other day in the car. Having a little bit of computer knowledge(I was driving to a windows exam that day, flunked it btw), I thought it was weird that Eugene didn't mention checking the NTP (Network Time Protocol) server. Other than that, I really lik...

Re: Post the last AIO episode you listened to!
I listened to Natural Born Leader earlier today. I thought it was interesting that Charles VanHorn still decided to run for student council after he confessed he had no idea what the student council even did. I'm glad that the writers chose to make the other characters understanding once they realiz...

Re: What books are you reading?
I've been working my way through The Legacy of The Force star wars series. I normally adore star wars, but this series has been a lot more soap opera-y than I like. I do like the glimpses into Mandalorian culture and language though. I'm currently on book 6: Inferno.

forever alone. That's sad 😕 I'm not forever alone.
