Re: Jeopardy Greatest of All Time Special

I watched the Film Theory on James' run and how they tried to sabotage him. It was.... Interesting to say the least I watched the same series and think it was really reaching. His luck just ran out. His strategy required him to get the Daily Doubles to get far ahead of his opponents. There were a h...

Re: Adventures in Odyssey Survey

I can't say I would be "thrilled" if a character became ill and passed away, but it would be good for a change to address the passing of a character directly instead of how it's been done in the past, which is mentioned in passing. Sesame Street managed to do it amazingly well when Mr Hoop...

Re: BOMBSHELL Whit News!

We all knew it deep down in our hearts. https://relevantmagazine.com/culture/culture-culture/bombshell-focus-on-the-family-confirms-mr-whittaker-would-not-be-on-board-with-maga/ Great! It fits into the themes of the earlier episodes of AIO. If they made him MAGA it would be a betrayal to his charac...

Re: MEGAPACK!

The only site I've seen this on is Christianbook.com. It's not even on FOTF's online store yet.

I imagine when it's listed on FOTF's page it will have a full track listing.

MEGAPACK!

The largest AIO collection to date! I gotta say the only way they could get me to buy this is if they included previously unreleased episodes like BTV Grace and others. But a good jumping on spot for people who are finding out about the show for the first time and feel intimidated at the idea of buy...

Anybody read Young Whit yet?

I see book one of Young Whit is out now.

It struck my curiosity because before I saw it I had wondered if FOTF would ever do a Young Whit audio adventure.

Still waiting on that, but I wonder how people here feel about the book. What are your reviews?

Re: Do you think the show will ever* end?

Hmm... Focus on the Family has stated that the show will end once God tells them. They want to keep on doing it as long as they can. And if you think almost 900 episodes is alot, compare that to unshackled! About Disney taking over Focus: That would be an utter tragedy. But is Unshackled a series w...

Re: Do you think the show will ever end?

"Ever" is a long time! You're right Poor choice of word. I am thinking more along the lines in any way that would logically wrap up the series and allow it to go out on a strong note. I guess the worst thing I fear for the future of the show is it meanders on for wayyyy too many years and...

Do you think the show will ever* end?

Pretty much as the title states. But by "ever" I mean on a high note, with a wrap up that satisfies as an ending for the series as a whole. I guess the thing I fear most about the series is it goes on way too long, loses relevance, and listeners stop being engaged and care about the series...

Malachi moments

I recently listened to the three part episode Malachi's Message for the first time and really loved the episode. It took me back to around 1992-93, I was a young 20 something recent covert (and my mom hated it...), and Bush had recently gotten us into the Gulf War. Perhaps to needle me for my new fo...

Re: Favourite/Least Favourite Episodes

I am not up to date on the entire series yet, so this may change... But I would say my least favorite so far has been "It's a Pokenberry Christmas" I see what they were trying to do there... but I honestly feel the show failed. It didn't feel like a homage to It's A Wonderful Life to me, n...

What does the "B" in B-TV stand for?

I can't find a source where it's been revealed.

I know in the premier episode of the concept it was after Bernard. But does it stand for Bernard TV? Or Bible TV?

(Inquiring minds need to know...I am designing a TV shirt and want it to be accurate.)

Re: Listening to AIO in chronological order

The idea that the game players could actually summon real evil spirits, too. Just...odd. While I agree C&C is a bizarre episode that is just cringy today, as was the baseless D&D panic of the time, this particular part I think I actually get. I think it's similar to the opposition to things...

Re: Listening to AIO in chronological order

Yeah, that is dumb, Castles and Cauldrons was a horrible episode that didn't reflect anything, not Skyrim(I've played it so I would know) and not D&D. There were so many strange things about it... Obviously the show was FOTF's way of taking a dig at Dungeons and Dragons. It was that way by desi...

Re: Listening to AIO in chronological order

It amazes me that people are still debating if the "occult" is part of Dungeons and Dragons to this day. There's nothing "occult" about it. It's just simple rolls of dice to determine if you can defend yourself or not or how you progress in the game. There's no "magic" ...

Re: Ant Man and The Wasp

Looks interesting. Ant-Man is not my favorite, but I will watch this eventually just to keep up with the Marvel universe. We might wait until it comes out on DVD, rent it, and watch it on ClearPlay. ClearPlay is still a thing? I thought it got sued and died or something? Maybe that was something el...

Re: Actor connections

I don't have anything on topic to say, I'm just hear to marvel at the animated Partridge Family 2200 AD. Kind of like Gilligan's Island had TWO animated followups to the original show, with 6 out of 7 cast members doing voice work (like the made for TV movies they did later). Gilligan's Plane...

Re: Listening to AIO in chronological order

I am doing this. And I do plan on going through all 800+ episodes. My experience is being rather bemused by the dated episodes. Castles and Crusades is so bad it's unintentionally funny. It's so far off the mark of how Dungeons and Dragons works I am dismayed more people didn't call the episode out ...

I watch it! Though since they doubled up on episodes this season, it really made the season feel shorter. I miss it on Friday nights. It was a good way to end out the week.
