Re: The Lego Ninjago Movie
I used to enjoy the original cartoon before the third(?) season came out and it tried to become too dramatic for its own good. From the looks of the trailer, it doesn't look like it'll be hardly anything like the cartoon, except for the universe, and a part of the premise: Lloyd, Lord Garmadon's son ...

Re: Spider-Man Homecoming
This movie looks really awesome, and the trailer really got me excited for it. 2017 looks like a really fun year for Marvel movies. Spider-Man, Guardians of the Galaxy 2, AND Thor Ragnorak? Yes, please.

Connie the Counselor. I thought it was pretty well-written.

Re: What is the last movie you saw?
I saw Moana. I can't say at all that I liked it as much as everyone else since the pacing throughout wasn't very good and that really killed it for me, but everything else was really great.

Re: Beauty and the Beast (2017)
Yeah, no, I'm sure Emma Watson will be completely fine, but we just did Cinderella and all of the actors in there were British and it would be nice to get some variety. This is like Assassin's Creed Unity where all the French characters have British accents. …Even though they have French names and ...

I re-watched the trailer and all of the actors are British? Umm??

Re: Stargate
Huh. I have pretty mixed feelings about it. On one hand, we're not going to get our Stargate canon written in two separate timelines that has a 50/50 chance of being horrible but on the other, no new Stargate content.

Re: Beauty and the Beast (2017)
I'm generally looking forward to it, but I'm kind of confused on why they didn't get a French actress to play Belle since she's...you know, French. I'm kind of getting tired of these live-action remakes, though, especially since they're simply good at best.

Re: 801: The Feud Of Mason County
I thought the episode's message was really good. Everything else was either "meh," or "ugh," for me, though. It was kind of ridiculous, and the "two warring sides," thing has been done to death.

I use Chrome on my Windows because Chrome is the only browser that doesn't lag on my laptop. I use Safari on my mom's Apple desktop.

Re: Stargate
Hm, I'll give it another shot, then. I'll probably end up liking it eventually but I'm not big on the process of the "coming around" part, ahaha. And if not, at least I'll know more about the Stargate canon.

Re: Stargate
I could never get into SGU and have been on the fourth(?) episode for the past year. The camera angles in the show are also terrible and don't make watching it easier. When does it start picking up? Could I go ahead and skip to that episode or would I miss too much important information?

Re: Stargate
I think Amanda Tapping and Anderson did an interview about the reboot. Tapping said she would agree to do a cameo about it if asked, and Anderson wanted the characters to remain timeless but it would be difficult to do that since he and the rest of SG-1 have aged a lot. I believe Michael Shanks also ...
