Great list. I haven't see Room or Love and Mercy, but I have heard great things about both, and there's always a chance they could shift my list around a little bit. There were a lot of excellent films that came out this year. Not everyone would enjoy Love and Mercy, but if you're a fan of The Beac...

I watched Whiplash yesterday. I went into it not really knowing anything about the movie and I was blown away. Easily one of my favourite movies of all time.

I watched an HBO special where they took the first two Godfather movies and put them in chronologic order and added in a ton of extended stuff and deleted scenes. Over 7 hours altogether. It was amazing. In March I'm going to see the first Godfather movie with the soundtrack played by a live orchest...

Prog Rock is probably my favourite genre. I love Pink Floyd, Jethro Tull, King Crimson, and Rush.

My favourite prog album would probably be In the Court of the Crimson King by King Crimson.
