Re: NBC's live productions

I know it's not NBC, but Fox is airing a live production of Grease in January. :) Julianne Hough, CarlyRae Jepsen, and Vanessa Hudgens play some of the principal roles, so they're definitely going for the celebrity stars to raise the status of the production. Fortunately, they've got an actual Broad...

Re: Jennifer's 2014 Travel Playlist

Three-parters are always great for long trips. :) In that case, I'd suggest A Perfect Witness 1-3 and A Name Not a Number 1-2, as those are also action/adventure.

Re: Age to introduce kids to AIO?

A couple years back, I played some episodes for my cousins, who were about 7 and 9, during a long car trip. At the time, they did enjoy it, but I haven't tried it recently.

Re: How Relevant Are Message Boards In The AIO Community?

Because I don't listen to Odyssey nearly as much as I used to (and Odyssey was my main reason for being on the board), I am not on the boards as frequently as I was before. As well, I don't know as many users who were on back when I was a regular. But I enjoy popping in especially when interesting O...

Re: funny theater experience

One of the weirdest movie experiences I've had was when I went to see Prince Caspian with a bunch of friends. Then, about 10 minutes before the movie ended, the film reel melted! It was the most random thing ever--there was a small hole in the corner of the screen that got bigger and bigger till we ...

Kickstarter Projects!

So I recently have enjoyed browsing through the hundreds of Kickstarter projects out there. For those who don't know, Kickstarter is a crowd funding website where creative minds ask the general public to donate to their project in exchange for various rewards. Some of the most popular Kickstarter Pr...

Re: Adventures in Odyssey Headcanons

Mandy stays in Odyssey and takes over Edwin's dinner theatre, writing the plays that are performed there. Connie eventually graduates university and starts writing another book. :D Was that first one inspired by the Oddcast interview with Aria, considering you submitted questions for it? Yes it was...

Re: Roommates

I've had roommates for the last three years of university, and I had a great experience with my most recent one. Some fond memories I have are getting pizza together, praying for each other, and listening to various episodes of AIO. \:D/

I'll be looking forward to hearing your thoughts post-hiatus! :D From what I remember, it was pretty rough listening to album 51 with all new characters and overall younger feel to the show, but it does get better from there on out.

Re: Will You Be Joining The OAC?

So I was reading PluggedIn's blog, and they mentioned today that 1,400 people have signed up for the OAC. I'm glad it's serving its use to some people, but of course, it would nice for longtime fans of the show to be able to have access for a less expensive price. Maybe even not have access to the w...

Re: Oddcast interview with Aria Curzon

I would like to know how she felt about her last story arc on the show involving Mandy's parent's splitting up/getting back together. Did she find it a challenge playing the less cheery side of Mandy throughout those episodes? Or did she enjoy exploring that aspect of Mandy's character we hadn't see...
