I've never used l-o-l on forums, so I don't mind the new filter at all.

Karen Kingsbury

I've been reading Karen Kingsbury's books for a little while. The books classify as Christian fiction, and most of her books are "emotionally gripping." :mecry: I've read the Redemption series and have just started her Firstborn series. I really like her books and can't wait for new ones t...

Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door. It's fairly easy to understand, but at the same time its rather intricate.

I think the pictures of the whitsend site are really just random pictures of kids that don't really have anything to do with the characters themselves. I mean, before it was the older Odyssey kids, like Lucy and Dylan. I think the new kids are just supposed to keep up with the more recently-aired Od...

I agree with the above posters who said spanking was for willful disobedience. I was also given timeouts, but that was more to cool down, not for disobedience.

I've had glasses since I was around six years old. I've definitely gotten used to them, and I really have no need to wear contacts. If I was playing some sort of rought sport, I might need to wear contacts, but since I am not, I have no inclination to purchase contacts.

Yes, I do like it that Connie doesn't have a boyfriend. Dating Mitch made her do irrational things (like dying her hair rasberry-chestnut). In contrast, Connie's role in Living in the Grey was to encourage Jimmy to do the right thing. I'd rather see her in that role more often than in "girlfrie...

I love Jungle Jam! I used to listen to the show all the time. I loved the songs, the characters, everything! I preferred the first half of the show over the Marvy Snuffleson parts in the show.

"Fame" by Karen Kingsbury. I've been reading her books for quite a while, and I think they're awesome! She's a Christian author who writes emotionally gripping fiction (in other words, her books make you cry).
