Re: So I need your guys's help!

Never forget to study the word of God as well. Look to the Bible for answers. Perhaps you could turn your prayer group into a Bible study as well. Perhaps you could invite people you see who are in need. There are a lot of great studies out there that you can just play off the internet. Mark Driscol...

God is Not Mad At You

'Who is a God like You, pardoning iniquity and passing over the transgression of the remnant of His heritage? He does not retain His anger forever, because He delights in mercy.' Micah 7:18 I was reading an article last night talking about how God is not angry with us. I had never really thought it ...

I'm in that situation too, Bren. Only I've got my family elsewhere in the house. My dog makes me have to do certain stuff. I have to take care of her.

Honor, a Forgotten Virtue

What is honor? How many people are there who still aspire to it? How many men and women are there in the world who aspire to not just be Christians, but be honorable Christians of godly character? Ponder that for awhile.
Many virtues are named often today, but it seems honor is rarely one of them.

Re: Coincidental Coincidences

Yesterday my mom and I were listening to the 'Enchanted' soundtrack and I was waiting for my sisters to come home. At the very highlight of the music I said "They're HOME!" as they pulled in and it just so totally unintentionally fit the mood.

Re: Introvert or Extrovert?

I am Introvert 78%, Sensing 1%, Thinking 1%, Perceiving 11%
I already knew I was introvert before I took the quiz, but things like that can be fun.
Although I'm not as much of an introvert as I used to be. I don't mind large crowds or expressing my feelings as much as I used to.

Re: People Love to Talk About Themselves

I would alter what you are saying to be more like "People are too lazy to add to discussion" then "People love to talk about themselves". When I say people love to talk about themselves it's what I mean. No, it's not always chronic, but it can be rather amusing at times how much...

People Love to Talk About Themselves

Have you ever noticed that, for the most part, the most popular topics are when people are asked about themselves? People love to talk about themselves. It seems to be in our nature and what we know how to do best in the chat room. I imagine I've offended a few souls with my statement, if anyone sho...

My mom just bought me a beautiful new purity ring with a cross in it and a message saying "True love waits" then 1 Timothy 4:12 surrounding it. I love it!
Does anyone else here wear a purity ring? Or perhaps are interested in them...
