Re: Life, life

Today I am tidying/cleaning my room, shopping for an ResLife event I'm running (s'mores and hot chocolate \:D/ ) tomorrow...and procrastinating doing school work. It seems like the longer I've been in school the more slack I become, but I'm also doing a lot more things outside of school with each ne...

Re: Dave Madden

I was soo sad when I heard the news! I haven't been able to bring myself to tell my sister...it seems like the sort of thing that should be I should tell her in person not via other forms of communication. I really loved all of Bernard's stories! Dave Madden will be greatly missed!

Re: Random Things That Remind You Of The ToO

The local farmer's market always makes me think of Laura Ingalls. And certain other establishments in the general vicinity remind me of BlessedCheesemaker because they (supposedly) use products from his family's farm.

Re: First Year University Students

Ok this will sound strange. I am a Freshman at Liberty, but I have senior classification due to transferring in over 90 credits. Thats not so strange. Did you go in another institution and transfer or do something like CollegePlus or do distance learning or online classes through Liberty? (Just cur...

Re: First Year University Students

My first year I commuted to school (it didn't have dorms). I went to orientation, but it wasn't mandatory and there were a lot of kids that had been dragged there by their parents. What I remember most from that evening was one of the speakers telling us that studies have shown that the students who...

Personally two sites that I find interesting and motivating are: http://www.boundless.org Focus on the Family's Young Adults and Singles ministry. They have a lot of articles and nearly 300 episodes of their podcast to get you thinking about different topics. http://www.artofmanliness.com Another fu...

Re: Adulting

Since I recently decided to start adulting the major changes I have made are drying myself off completely after I shower, and ensuring I wash my hands for a full 20 seconds. Who doesn't dry themselves off after they shower? O_o Well, sometimes if the weather is really hot it is nice to take advanta...

Re: How Cheese is Made

Man of Cheese, I wanted to stop in to say that I am really enjoying this thread! I really like cheese...and was just this evening enjoying some munster. Do you know why it usually has orange on the borders? Thanks. As far as the orange rind on Munster, I know that for our traditional French style M...
