89% introvert. I'm surprised it was only 89%. I was estimating at least in the ninetieth percentile.

I just watched Princess Bride again. That movie has the best dialogue. The best dialogue.

Re: So is Whit no longer a WWII veteran?
Eventually, they will have to kill off Whit, he can't live past 120. "Whit is timeless" -- Paul McCusker In my opinion, Whit dies with the show. I don't think they can continue it without Whit. He's the central character, and when and if the central character dies in an entertainment prog...

I believe mostly middle school age. Which, judging by the books, is too young. At least for the sixth/seventh graders.orangie wrote:I'm just curious, how old are the kids going to see the movie?

Re: The Hunger Games
I'm probably one of the only people who didn't like the books. I didn't see the movie, but the books, to me, didn't seem that good. I didn't think they were written very well, and they were also pretty shallow. The first book was okay, the second book was good, and the third book was terrible (altho...

I don't have an Xbox (PS3! ), but I do like me some Halo. Also, Portal and Portal 2 are both really great games. I don't know about anything else.

Re: The Best Marvel Movie?
I haven't seen most of the movies there, but for me it was either Captain America or (un-popularly) Spiderman 1. Spiderman won because I hate it when movies end with cliff hangers. And, for some reason, even though the Spiderman trilogy from what I've seen has generated lots of negative opinions abo...

Re: Atheists and the Bible
Oh, I know that most evolutionists aren't vehemently trying to prove Creation wrong (there are plenty of creationists obsessed with proving Evolution wrong), the one thing that I've noticed on both sides of the argument is that when approaching an experiment, they bring their views on the matter wit...

Re: What books are you reading?
I'm reading The Thief by Meghan Whalen Turner. It's a very good book about . . . A thief. It's set in an imaginary land heavily inspired by ancient Greece. I'm also reading Manzanar by John Armor and Peter Wright, which is a photographic record of American citizens jailed (by the American Government...

Re: Brave
Apparently the popular opinion is that it was a good movie. Maybe I was tired, or grumpy when I saw it, but I just remember thinking, as the credits rolled, "That was disappointing." And whenever I think about it, it is not fondly. Or maybe it was because they showed the trailer for the Ho...

Re: Atheists and the Bible
Which creationist view are you referring to? ;) I've heard several different arguments concerning dates, etc. Also, I'm afraid you have it backwards. The scientific community, for the most part, doesn't claim to be anything else besides a measurable standard for objective truth. It's often the chur...

Re: The Hobbit of Awesome Greatness
I can't wait for this. And I honestly don't mind that it's three movies. The Hobbit was a children's book, so they're incorporating more of Middle-Earth lore to make it longer and more mature, to stand up to the LOTR trilogy.

Re: Brave
The animation and visuals were amazing. Everything else was the opposite of amazing. I basically agree with everything CreativeThinker101 said. Well, I agree that it wasn't that great. I don't agree that it was worse than Cars 2, or that Pixar is dead. I just didn't think it was as good as any of t...

Re: Do Sinners Really Go to heck? (Split-- Theist Q&A)
I'd philosophize about this, but I tend to steer away from my own theology and philosophy, as I'm not really good at that stuff. The other day I began thinking about God being outside of time, and ended up at the theory that God is this dude in a world like ours, and we're all in a videogame, and th...

Re: Atheists and the Bible
Honestly, I believe the strongest arguments that I have found are a few of the contradictions in the Bible, although someone more intelligent than me could likely explain them. (I have read several articles both pointing out contradictions, and explaining that the said contradictions are not necessa...

Well, right now I'm sprinting away from a herd of Rhinoceros, having just escaped evil gunman by sprinting across a wimpy bridge and then cutting the ropes so that they couldn't cross. Oh, wait! Oh yes, I'm in a dense pack of trees, the Rhinoceros can't get me in here. HOLY CHEESE MASSIVE SNAKE. But...

That cover art is truly horrendous, although I've never really cared much for the cover art. It is still pretty bad. Anyway, I have always been a huge fan of all Whit's wonderful inventions, and I relish the episodes that feature them. I was just realizing that we haven't had a good Imagination Stat...
