Re: Log of site issues

I'm not 100% sure this IS an issue, but has anyone else noticed an increase in bot-like activity? I've noticed several recent threads created by new users who are complaining about "issues" that don't really make a lot of sense, like negative balances, bans, etc. Then the users disappear a...

Oh, these are all good choices! If I were going purely off intellectual sharpness, I would have a hard time picking between Albert Einstein and William Shakespeare.

So I choose Penguins, because they are sharp and snazzy dressers. :inlove:

Lol, mine also said Lynchburg. I'm guessing there's a bunch of Switchfoot fans going to Liberty.

Re: What books are you reading?

I'm currently reading The Mill on the Floss by George Eliot. It's good! I was familiar with Silas Marner, but I never bothered looking up her other stuff, so now I have lots of options to choose from.

Hey look, this actually turned out to be a thing. :o They officially announced the title for the next game!

Cherry Coke Zero. Enough carbonation and caffeine to keep me going with that classic aspartame taste every empty nest mother in the southeast just can’t resist. I have to consciously limit myself to like two of those aspartame sodas a day. It really is addicting. Suddenly grateful that my parents d...

I saw the first one in theaters, so I'm hoping to catch this one, too! My one complaint (that makes me sound really old) is that the first movie was super-duper loud in theaters. I might need earplugs. :anxious:

Re: Nancy Drew PC Games

The way they're promoting this game is actually quite clever. They've been releasing puzzle teasers on their social media, which is definitely rallying all the fans together. I don't know what to expect, and with the original team long gone, I doubt we'll ever get another game that feels like the tr...

Re: Nancy Drew PC Games

The Reddit community is speculating that it might be based on a Nancy Drew book called "April Fool's Day," which has a tech-related plot. Her Interactive has also cleared all the posts off their Instagram except for this one, so it does seem like it could be broader in scope than just a pr...

Re: Nancy Drew PC Games

If it is legit, I question the marketing decision to release the news on April Fools' Day. Especially when they don't have the most stellar reputation with their fans at the moment. I'm trying not to get my hopes up once again, but like you said, there is some evidence that it might be real... :anxi...

Re: Post A Picture Of Yourself

Weirdly enough, I just uploaded an attachment, and it let me post it, but I had to majorly compress it down to under 500 KB. It looks like the limit is 10 MB now, and it does seem to be working (at least for me). Maybe an issue with an ad-blocker or something on your end? :-k

Re: What books are you reading?

I just finished "Daughter of the Moon Goddess" by Sue Lynn Tan. It's loosely based on Chinese mythology and was really, really good. My first five-star book of the year! Now I'm reading "Things We Didn't Say" by Amy Lynn Green. It's also very good! Maybe I should just pick books ...

Re: Log of site issues

The Christmas board is only showing the most recent poster and not the actual thread they posted in. Is anyone else having the same issue? I tried on two different browsers and it looked the same.
