Re: America's Got Talent (Season 16)

Ep1: Auditions This is the first I've watched since Simon became one of the judges! Looking forward to finally seeing him here. Canine Stars was fun, but "The best animal act I've ever seen on this show" really Howie? Do you not remember Olate Dogs ? I was very surprised when Howie voted ...

Re: Odyssey Characters You Could Totally Beat In A Fight

When I saw this thread's title my immediate first thought was to make sure Whit wasn't on your list. Most people might be inclined to choose him because of his age, but that would be a big mistake. You wouldn't stand a change against someone who would look like this as a warrior man.

Re: America's Got Talent (Season 16)

It's a good show. This is the only one of the many competition show series there are out there that I can get into, because while the others are all singers or all dancers or whatever else, this can be literally anything. You truly have no idea what you will see. Now that NBC has their Peacock strea...

America's Got Talent (Season 16)

I still haven't managed to catch up on the last several seasons yet, but I'm planning to follow this one live. If anyone else is watching please post along with me, it would be nice to get back to sharing thoughts on stand out acts as the show goes along.

Re: Hamilton

(I watched this and wrote this post several months ago but just realized I never submitted it.) Okay, I get it now. This is very good. Very good. I don't think it's the most significant thing to ever happen in the history of musical theater, so I haven't been converted to one of 'those people', but...

Re: Jungle Cruise

Oh yeah, I didn't even put together that PotC was also a ride-turned-movie actually, I was just referring to the feel I was getting from the ambiance and action in this trailer and the sudden focus on supernatural enemies that wasn't in previously released material.

-- April 19th, 2020, 5:39 pm -- I also think this looks kind of fun, to my surprise. When I heard it was in development way back when I could not have been less interested in the idea. But seeing what they ended up doing with it, I'm actually willing to give it a try. -- May 28th, 2021, 9:40 am -- h...

Re: Stanley Cup Playoff 2021 Live Chats

How is it that most of the series have played 3-4 games so far but one has only played one?
I haven't been paying much attention to what's been going on yet, I just noticed this while checking the latest bracket update.

I was just making my shopping list in my head and the first thing I said was "I need milk and eggs" then I paused because something seemed weird about that for some reason. I figured out what it was after a moment. :P

Forgot to mention that the substance in question isn't even illegal, it just has to be cleared before the race. Also the levels being detected are so minuscule it's clearly not being used to actually drug up the horses, for a performance benefit, or there would be a lot more in the sample. It's simp...

Re: new kind of apple

I definitely did get them at an incredibly low, temporary price. Now that they're back to what they normally cost they're absurdly expensive and I definitely won't be getting them again, despite how much I liked them.
