Share your Fall photos!

https://thetoobookworm.000webhostapp.com/pb/misc/fallphotocontest.png (This isn't really a contest, I just wanted to reuse the banner image I made a few years back because I like it.) This is my favorite time of year, and a big part of why is seeing all the beautiful scenery around as leaves change...

Re: Double Asteroid Redirection Test

You can take a short quiz about the mission on their website to get an 'officially certified' planetary defender certificate. It doesn't really mean anything, but is kind of fun.

Re: Willow

I watched it! I'm unsure if I'd call it a fantasy classic, but I did like it and I'm very glad I finally saw it. I was pleased to find it holds up more than I had unfairly assumed it would based on nothing in particular. Pretty intense start; two deaths before the opening credits ended. That was une...

Re: Does anyone play Minecraft?

I've never been super into Minecraft, but I messed around with it for a little while way way back when it was pretty new. Only for building things though, I didn't do the survival gameplay.

Re: Are CD's Going Out of Style?

Until I went and checked just now I had absolutely no idea whether my car had a CD player (turns out it does) because it has never even crossed my mind to consider playing one in there before. It has a bluetooth system so if I want to play something I do it from my phone. Anyway to answer the questi...

Re: Willow

Yes that's exactly what I wonder too, how much of the fondness that people have may just be nostalgia. I have a feeling that most of it may be, which is what's held me back from making an effort to watch it. I don't know why I think that though, it's baseless. We should watch it 'together' so we bot...

I haven't seen the movie either. I've thought about checking it out a few times, but was never really interested enough to go through with it. I think most people view it pretty fondly though so maybe I should finally watch it myself sometime.

Re: Percy Jackson and the Olympians

I haven't seen the movies (or read the books) but I gathered that fans of the series were pretty let down by them. This is supposed to be a closer adaptation as you said, I wonder if people will like it more.
