That caught me off guard too, but just because I hadn't thought about it at all before watching the trailer. If I had I would have expected it, there's pretty much only one way for a crab to look that I know of.

I noticed it mentioned "New lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda" so there's at least a new song somewhere, I would guess there's some additional story content as well to go with it.

I think I heard the Beauty and the Beast remake did that too. I never ended up seeing that one.

I may check it out eventually if it's good, but this doesn't interest me much. Peter Pan has really never resonated with me.
