Re: Nancy Drew PC Games

My sister had nearly all of these Nancy Drew games growing up. I no longer live in the same State as my sister, so I've been buying the digital copies and replaying each one in order since about July of this year. I'm up to the Curse of Blackmoor Manor right now; I'm nearly finished with it. Oh, ho...

(Finally) Announcing Your Mod Squad!

Each of the users below will have Mod Powers accross the Boards, but we have asked that each of them more closely monitor specific forums (which were chosen according to their activity in each of the sub-forums). So now, without further ado, I announce your Mod Squad (and no, I'm not changing the na...

My Sincerest Apologies

I've been meaning to make this post for some time, but I haven't had the time to put it down into words, and I'm honestly ashamed that it's taken me this long to post. When I first talked with TS about running, I was excited to help breathe some new life into these Forums that have meant so much to ...

My Cousin Anne

My cousin Anne passed away on Friday. We are heading to Indiana on Thursday for the funeral. She did believe in Christ. Your prayers for her family (husband Nate, and children Andrew, Rebecca, and James). I would also appreciate your prayers for safe travels (it's about a 14 hour drive, not includin...

Elbows are more important than you realize until you aren't able to use them without pain.

I am genuinely shocked by the unanimous outcome. Thanks everybody, TS and I are very grateful for your support, and we hope we can deliver on our promises to bring more life to these forums over the next few months.

Re: Life, life

Good for you! My dad always does his own taxes and helps assorted relatives as well, so I have absolutely no motivation or interest in tackling it myself, though if I had to I assume I could figure it out...or pay somebody to do it. ;) My dad has always done my taxes for me in years past, but this ...

Re: The Problems

My motorbike doesn't have a way to charge my phone, and I like to take long rides (for therapy reasons) with music on my phone connected to my Bluetooth headset mounted in my helmet... So my battery dies fairly quickly, and it's rather annoying.

Re: Favorite board games?

Great Cooperative Games include: Forbidden Island. Forbidden Desert. (There's also Forbidden Sky that just came out, but I have yet to play it, so I'll have to give my review at a later date). Pandemic (and all the expansions/extensions/other iterations of the game are equally as, if not more fun th...

Re: What books are you reading?

I've been reading a lot of Sci-Fi lately. Peter Clines has been my latest obsession. I read 14, The Fold, and I'm currently on Paradox Bound. Very fantastical sci-fi, largely based in theoretical-physics, but he does get rather intense/violent at times. Over the Summer, I read through Dennis E. Tayl...
