That's pretty much what I think.

Re: Heaven and heck

I'm Seventh Day Adventist. Since you're Seventh Day Adventist, do you also believe that Jesus is the same as the archangel Michael, and vice versa? That's one other thing I've been taught that you guys believe. -- May 16th, 2011, 11:45 am -- I was asking Danielle Abigail Maxwell about that since it...

Heaven and heck

I'm a little concerned. I just saw Danielle Abigail Maxwell post in the May 21, 2011 thread that she doesn't believe that when people die they go to heaven or heck. I would be very comforted to know that this is not in any respect the majority view around here. I think the Bible is pretty clear abou...

I calculated it myself, and the end of the world was 4 years ago. He's wrong. Did you include the leap years? And any other time the calendar may have changed throughout history? ;) Here're my calculations. So these are my variables, their values, and where they came from: A = 16.5 = my age B = 666...

Re: May 21st, 2011

Interestingly enough, the idea of a "rapture" type event is only 150 or so years old, anyway. But it has been a popular thing to predict ever since then. Yeah, my church doesn't even believe in the Rapture. I'm not sure whether I do or not. My dad is a pretty strong believer in it because...

Re: 657: Clutter

Here's my review: I overall really liked this episode. Throughout the episode there was great chemistry between characters. There were several specific things that I wanted to mention about this episode. I like the character Red. He was a great, original, corky neighbor character. I didn't like him ...

Re: 658: Game for a Mystery

Here's my review: This episode was okay. But it didn't really live up to the usual standards of an Odyssey episode. The only episode similar to it is "Heatwave", which I happen to not like very much either. It was fine in the mystery sense, but it didn't seem to have much of a backbone. Ho...

Re: 659: Target of the Week

Here's my review: I came into this episode with average expectations, failing to remember that it was this week's episode that was promised by Original Joe to be the best of the season. I was looking forward to next week's being the highly anticipated episode. I'm glad that I didn't remember right, ...

Re: 660: For the Birds

Here's my review: I liked this episode. Phil Walton and Paul McCusker did a good job of putting both storylines together. I want to review the episode by giving my thoughts on each character: First of all, Whit, of course! I didn't like Andre's voice so much in this episode. It seems like he can do ...

Re: PHC - Questions Answered

Here's my deal. I'm not trying to convince you why you're wrong, and I'm not trying to make you rebel against your parents or whatever. You have an extra-biblical standard that you think it's probably best not to listen to rock music, and that's fine. But when you start turning that extra-biblical ...

Re: PHC - Questions Answered

Actually, I'd like to learn what is wrong with contemporary worship music to begin with \:D/. I'm too lazy to read through the past 20 pages to see if and when this was already covered. I believe, (odysseyfan1 can correct me if I'm wrong) that one of the major reasons contemporary worship music is ...

Re: Guitar Name

What about Infiniti?

The guitar is in the 8 shape, and when you put it on its side, it makes the infiniti symbol. I don't know how good that sounds, but that's my suggestion. (Mostly because I have no idea whatsoever what I would name a guitar.)

Re: Toy Story 3

For one thing, he has a bunch of little siblings, so who would think it's wise to show that kind of thing to a young child? Secondly, it's just inappropriate. (Two kids in love, alone, one standing over the other with his clothes ripped off? What's not inappropriate?) Even I would rather have my da...

Re: 661: When You’re Right, You’re Right

Here's my review: I didn't like this episode very much at all. It got a little better near the end, but there were a lot of objectionable elements in it, at least for me. I'll address the episode by giving the positive and negative elements. Negative first: There was a lot of disrespect toward paren...
