Dave Griffin

So Dave Griffin is an interesting guy. Like a lot of people who have worked on Odyssey in the past, he's obviously not perfect and his personal values don't necessarily line up with the ministry producing Odyssey. It's cool to me when Focus works with people like that openly without feeling like the...

Re: Whit's End, Connelsville

I could see Whit being down with Wooton being the new "Whit" at the Connellsville branch- heck, they could even call him "Woot". Also, if the writers wanted to, I don't think it's entirely unlikely this is something the writers would genuinely do- though we'd have to re-introduce...

Congrats on being published! That's quite an accomplishment, and one I know a lot of people aspire to. I'll definitely go "like" and "follow" you.

Re: Post the last AIO episode you listened to!

I was listening through volume 18 earlier this week, but I got stuck in the middle of "The Mysterious Stranger". I'll have to finish that one up today.

Re: Ask an alcohol-drinking, girl-kissing, pot-smoking Atheist!

Darn, I had no idea there were so many of you flaming atheists on here. :P I do enjoy talking to educated atheists much more than I enjoy talking to uneducated Christians, blindly following the Sunday school answers to life they grew up with without ever putting their beliefs to the test. I do find ...

Re: Ask a Marvin

Great, so you don't agree with abortion (and I don't know many Christians that do) but what do you think about "unplugging" vegetables? That is, people that are being kept alive entirely artificially, and don't really have any life left in them anyway. Is it wrong to simply let them die?

Re: Ask a Marvin

If I may, could I ask for some Biblical backup for your point about people not being manifested the way they were forever ago?

It may be that YOU aren't specifically manifested in this way, but I know plenty of people that are. :D

Re: Ask a Marvin

Ooh, secular music. Yes, if you willingly listen to secular music, you will be damned to Hell immediately. .which means I should get rid off all the Taoi Cruz, the Civil Wars, Kris Allen, John Mayer, and fun. music off of my iPod :( . .not. Deep in the prisons of hell, convicts are discussing their...

Is this for iPod? I'm definitely going to have to give this a try. Clever idea though, you would adapt a game like this to fit AIO... Can we count on a MLP version next? ;)

You're a swell guy KF, I would have probably locked her in a closet and looped "Still Alive" and "Want You Gone" for a couple days straight.

Speaking of portal music, though, have you heard the soundtrack for the second one? It's free to download on the site.

Re: confusing forum layout?

Thanks snubs, :)

I actually just went through them all yesterday to see what kinds of options there were. I liked green tea the best, but I left it on blue ToO for some reason anyway.
20 posts to a page on the SS now, and we're working on the page highlight thing. Thanks for pointing those out guys.

Re: confusing forum layout?

But I definitely agree with T.S. on the board being harder to navigate for new users. But T.S. said it was not hard to navigate, so you are actually disagreeing with him. Sorry I didn't mention which board I was talking about, I meant the ToO is harder to navigate, or at least, it was in the beginn...

Re: confusing forum layout?

On SS, I honestly just noticed the General Discussion forum a couple few days ago. :anxious: And we don't have a problem with that at all. :D General is supposed to be more of an afterthought, and we'd rather new users focus on the AIO portion of the site first anyway. But I definitely agree with T...

Re: Ask a Marvin

Arminianism FTW. I award you internet hi-fives Judgmental Monty is judgmental, but that's okay :p Yes. Sometimes if someone sings a special, it'll be a more contemporary song, but the original pastor doesn't like it, which I don't agree with. There's no set standard for what makes a song "Chris...
