Re: It's time to say goodbye
I don't really understand the goodbye comments here... This topic's OP is weird. The system will be upgraded, but it's not going away. Posts and PMs will absolutely be saved. Added features like blogs, shop/points, and wall comments on profiles are what you can expect to lose. But... ek and darcie a...

Re: Log of site issues
So true, Laurie. xD Yesterday evening I got the server error message. ...on a side note, why the heck do I have negative $48??? I didn't even edit any post. *blames Woody* I had to edit two reaaaally old posts of yours that hotlinked to a vomit smiley on a site that now serves malware. Sorry I didn...

Re: How Relevant Are Message Boards In The AIO Community?
Topper, Catspaw, and everyone who agrees with this, while Dacie put it well, she is still incorrect. You think I'm wrong because you incorrectly assume I was talking about the Soda Shop here. Shortly before this topic was made, Bren contacted me on Facebook because he was considering going a differ...

Re: ToO & SS Merger
We never needed so many sites to begin with, but each serves a different purpose. My views were posted on Bren's topic the other day: http://thetoo.com/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=34024 The internet is changing, and message boards will have to change with it. That's for sure. But SS and CC aren't forums...

Re: What poses the great threat to Odyssey?
The episode description and discussion questions here on the wiki are interesting. http://www.aiowiki.com/wiki/The_Ties_That_Bind,_Part_6 Whit protesting an inclusive festival in opposition to the rest of the town? It's very divisive, in my opinion. Whit is seen to be the main voice of conscience in...

Re: What poses the great threat to Odyssey?
Well, what kind of "Christian response" are you hoping for? The one I've heard planned doesn't sound exactly useful. But I'm trying to save my disappointment until I hear it, or at least a review of it. :/

Re: How Relevant Are Message Boards In The AIO Community?
It's not a huge community we're talking about here. If it keeps trying to be split between various sites, the portions won't be able to sustain themselves. The ToO did well early on because it was THE site to go to. The Town Hall couldn't survive any longer when The ToO won its audience. But then pe...

Re: A Suggestion for Name Changes
One thing we never had with the phpBB3 upgrade was a shop that was as well written as the original. There was a name change function in this one, but it was super buggy and not worth having available. But the upgrade had to happen, regardless. Hopefully we can upgrade our code again and perhaps some...

I read the first article, but I haven't gotten to the one where Rita and Ginny are commentating the match.
We've been having a Very Harry Summer. We watched a marathon of all 8 movies in two days, and I've also finally started reading the books with my son. We're on the 3rd. I love the 3rd.

Re: Post a Picture of Your Project
My skirt that I shared before got made into another thing. This project was creating a pattern that other people can use. I'm super excited, because it's the first sewing pattern I've published! Yay!
