Here's hoping Whit didn't relapse from his diet - with a pinãta full of malted milk balls.

Re: ATTN: AIO Adventure Club episodes discussion with Brock
But here's my response, which I already posted: http://odysseyoutofcontrol.blogspot.com/2013/10/thoughts-on-odyssey-adventure-club-open.html If you don't buy online and actually go to a bookstore, an album costs something like $25. If they tier it, and the basic package with the exclusive episodes ...

Re: One AIO Season A Year
Just scrolling through this thread for the first time and learning a lot . I agree that $180 is an unreasonable price when Amazon Prime and Netflix and the rest of all the other streaming services are charging similar services. However, I think a slightly lowered price, to a model more like Spotify ...

Sherlock has some really amazing writing, and the Irene Adler one was SO GOOD, plus that Season 2 cliffhanger...and the actors and the characters and the modernization but still Sherlockian stuff...

Re: Worst AIO Character?
Wooton post-hiatus, as some other posters have written in. He's not growing as a character and Christianity hasn't even been mentioned with him in...forever. He's really only used as a tool for humor nowadays. And everyone else on my list are characters that were both uninteresting and unlikable: Da...

Re: Family Portraits Rereleased
Well, we gotta note that Family Portraits aren't actually Adventures in Odyssey ODYSSEY ODYSSEY. They're just a test series, so Focus might've wanted to see how fans would react in general. You know that us long-time fans are gonna be interested, but will the younger generation? I'm guessing that if...

Re: 723: Groundhog Jay
To me, I thought of it as a Hindsight meets Another Man's Shoes meets The Eternal Birthday episode. It was very intriguing and hilarious, plus jay's such a great antihero. And to think I used to think he was annoying! I'd love to see more Jay/Priscilla episodes, I thought they were a funny comedy du...

Re: 722: The Lost Riddle
<t>My nitpicky flaw for this episode:<br/> <br/> According to this episode, Dale Jacobs was in high school in 1987 (which would mean he was born in '69). He was first introduced as editor-in-chief of the Odyssey Times in 1989 with two kids around age 10. Unless he had Robyn and Melanie when he was a...

Readers of the Kidsboro books: Did anyone else think the scenes with Ryan and Olivia were awkward since Kelly Stables used to play Jill, Ryan's love interest in the Kidsboro books? Nice job taking a story from recent pop culture: Tim Tebow and Jeremy Lin, and turning it into a timeless episode. Very...

Re: 719: The Bible Network
I think that the BSI skit had a lot of potential (I saw it going somewhere like NVPD Squad in BTV-Envy), but I felt that it didn't live up to what it could've been. After episodes like Hidden in My Heart or The Devil Made Me Do It, the bar's been set pretty high for eps teaching spiritual truths by...

Re: Autistic character
I think it would be easier to portray the full character and dimension of an autistic character visually...unless you found a really, really good actor.

Re: An Idea for an episode in Album 57
Would you have a lovable sheriff come to town, or a town drunk? Would it take place in Odyssey? Or did you mean something like a cameo where Connie walks into Whit's office and knocks over his bookshelf and picks up a signed photograph?

Different people have different phrases that affect them (i.e. Japanese people get offended when you wear slippers on a tatami mat).
But anyways, here's my review!

June Kendall was one of the best and understated Odyssey moms. Her personality is incredibly warm and relatable and it would be wonderful if she came back!
