Re: Odyssey + the Real World
Last night I was watching Mythbusters and the episode was about whether NASA faked the moon landing. I made the mistake of saying out loud, "Jared has to watch this!" My brother asked me, "Jared who?" and I replied, "An Odyssey character." My brother then said, "Yo...

Re: I Dream of Eugenie - Dreams About Adventures in Odyssey
I dreamt last night that I was Connie and either Bethany and Kelly or Brooke and Sam McKay were helping me with something. I can't remember what I was doing, though. It was very short.

Re: ToO Madlibs Weeks #2-5 "ToO Chronicles"
Mine's not bad...but there are spots where it makes no sense. I personally think it would be hilarious if Mr. Charles had a pet ostrich.

Re: What books are you reading?
I'm suffering through Wuthering Heights. I really dislike Cathy and Heathcliff...actually, I dislike most of the characters in the book.

Re: Odyssey + the Real World
This morning in our church service, our pastor read through Jeremiah 29, which reminded me instantly of "Bernard and Jeremiah." I just listened to that one today! I remembered what else I wanted to say! My littlest brother and I joke about how like the Barclays we are. We have pork all th...

Re: Odyssey + the Real World
I know a Sam Johnson. He lives in Florida. I've been listening to "Around the Block" and it's so applicable to me right now There was another "Real World" Odyssey moment I had, but I forgot it. I'll post it when I remember.

Re: What books are you reading?
Have you read the ones about the girls? I haven't gotten around to it yet.... Yes. I quite enjoyed the story of Rahab and Ruth. I especially enjoyed Ruth, since I could also refer back to Three Funerals and a Wedding ;) as for Jane Eyre, I personally don't see how a tragedy is romantic, but whatever.

Re: What books are you reading?
 There's another one? Yeah, and that's what I said too, when I found out. Immediately after the shock followed a happy dance, though. :D Oooh those are amazing! :D I read all of them, which is your favorite? My favorites are Jonathan and Amos. I don't know why, since those are tragic ones, b...

Yes, but I think Jimmy is older now I don't think Jason has aged since he arrived on the show, either. When I make those inventive ice cream flavors (I plan to make them by hand and try them) I will post the recipies here.

Re: Fan Fiction
I'm glad you enjoyed it! You're very welcome. As a comic-book aficianado, I had to involve Powerboy. And quite honestly, the way it ended was the best option. Jason might ask her to leave for short term or long term trips. Connie can't leave Odyssey. She's as much a part of AIO as Whit. At any rate,...

Re: Odyssey + the Real World
There's a book called "Graceling" and it's about a girl who has different colored eyes, blue and green eyes. That's the predominant color in the gifted or "graced" people in that world, but there are some with gold and silver eyes. However, the dual colored eyes caused me to thin...

Re: What books are you reading?
I just finished reading the Sons of Encouragement books by Francine Rivers (all but one, anyway), and I really liked some of her other books. I'm also reading The Squire's Quest by Gerald Morris. This is his 9th book in the Squire's Tale series, one of my favorites. I really recommend his books.

Re: Fan Fiction
Why, thank you. It takes a twisted mind (like mine) to write twisting plots. I'm posting the eighth installment today. This is a fun one. I actually wrote it all last week, but didn't want to post it until I was finished.

Re: Fan Fiction
I think my favorite Bernardism that I wrote is "you're acting stranger than a platypus". I thought those two ice cream flavors sounded good too. It's something I would personally love to try. I guess you could say I invented the combo, but I haven't actually tried it. I think it would be b...

Re: Odyssey + the Real World
Everytime I eat Macaroni'N'Cheese, I can't help but listen/sing to Ode to Macaroni. I'm going to make it a tradition, I think.

Re: Fan Fiction
I can't find Inventor's Corner either. Maybe it's an old group? I enjoyed writing that particular part for Jason to say. And I'm glad you like the Bernardisms. It's so hard inventing new ones that he would actually say. I'm posting part five and six today, so enjoy!
