Re: What does "CHRISTIAN" mean to you?

The word literally means "little Christ", so that was the first thing that came to my mind. That is not a title I deserve, to be sure, apart from His grace shed on me.

Re: Let Me Stretch Your Mind

I have thought about this quite a bit, actually. It makes sense in regards to salvation too. Because God is outside of time, our salvation is outside of time. That's why Paul says we were saved before the foundation of the world (Ephesians 1:4). It is also how he refers to the unbreakable chain of f...

Re: What Bible Version Do You Use?

Yeah, cause back then young women were stoned if they weren't virgins, which hopefully would be a cultural-known fact. The Mosaic Law probably wouldn't have mattered all that much -- Israel wasn't even following it at the time, since they were worshiping idols and such. I think God left inten...

Re: What Bible Version Do You Use?

I generally use the ESV, or the NASB, since they are the most accurate to the original languages. This is a good link about the ESV: http://www.desiringgod.org/resource-library/resources/good-english-with-minimal-translation-why-bethlehem-uses-the-esv There are other reasons too, such as well-known ...

Considering I'm Jewish, yet go to a non-denominational Church, we could have an interesting conversation!

Re: How often do you take Communion?

Every week. \:D/ In the New Testament, one of the main reasons Christians gathered together was to break bread, right up there with prayer and the apostles' teaching. No reason we should not do the same today! That depends on how you interpret "breaking bread". In 1st century times, that ...

I hope the USA loses. Soccer is something I don't want bragging rights too.

"My country is better at acting than yours!!"

They should rename it the "World Dive".

I'll go back to baseball now.

Freedom in the Messiah

Hello! I just recently (like yesterday) started a new blog. It's main focus is the Bible, Israel, and the Jewish people. The majority of my posts will center around the Bible though, and I plan on using it as a tool to chronicle my way through the Scriptures. I would love for some of you to read/com...

Let's you baseball lovers sprint around on a field that's bigger than football fields for 90 minutes. :noway: *cough* I just think it's boring. :- And rugby tops football any day. *runs out of thread* EDIT: I could go on an hour rant about how mental soccer is, but I'll spare you all this time. =P ...
