Re: Life, life

So, I have a /genius cat/. Her name is Sunshine, and she is a two years old. She recently had kittens, and decided to move them. She moved them... to the roof. Of our porch. The porch roof is right outside the second floor windows, so one day my sister looked out and saw a kitten and Sunshine. On t...

five years

I don't know whether to keep these up or not. I do know she's still missed♥ March was a hard month for my family this year as we were dealing with some hard dates due to a recent loss of ours, so I didn't get to posting on time. What's one of the brightest memories of SnC you remember well? What's o...

Re: Gender poll

Our sweet little boy was born last night at 7:35! He is teensy tiny, only weighing 1 lb 6.5 oz. He's in one of the best NICUs in the country, and so far is doing well - there is a very long road ahead though. I am so grateful for everyone's prayers...this has been an incredibly difficult 4 weeks. W...

Re: Life, life

Life has been crazy. But the perks have been: lately I've had some good heart to heart talks with long-time acquaintances who are fast becoming dear friends. I have an out of town friend who has been planning to stay with me in May...and she just found out she can probably stay a few extra days (mor...

I popped back on the ToO for a visit today.
I'm glad to see it's still a wonderful place.

*squeak* Oh my goodness Laura, congratulations! Praying for you and your little fella as you two take it easy at home.

I'd offer to come visit, but alas, it's a bit far. :(

Re: March Madness

Couldn't not come back for this:)

This year I used the ESPN game preview button to look at all the stats, and the strengths and weaknesses. I filled out Midwest last, in the early hours of the morning. And boy does it show. ;) Too many red lines.

Oh
My
Word.

I have never been so perfectly pleased with a Companion's departure.
I'M SO PROUD OF BBC.

And I would have been mad if he had never remembered Clara at all. But that bit at the diner and then her parting 'gifts' to him. Per. Fect. <3<3

Re: Doctor Who Series Preview

^ I don't think I'd mind that at all...even though I think that I can be okay with and even approve where last week left off (story wise....emotional wise...well, I was trying not to think about that bit) But Jenna is in the second part of the finale, so...it looks probable. I thought that maybe th...

Re: Doctor Who Series Preview

That was so appropriate and well done. I had hoped that Clara would find someone (maybe someone who needed a Nanny?) to live for/die for again, but as for where they were in Clara's storyline, this was very well done and appropriate. She decided to run nonstop with the Doctor for the rest of her li...

Re: Life, life

I can't believe you're almost to your wedding Laura! That's so exciting. ^_^ Mm. Life. Life changes very quickly. Last week my Daddy passed away unexpectedly. It's been a long week. One of my first thoughts was that he was giving Lisa a hug for me. That's the type of person he is. It's been a really...

Re: Doctor Who Series Preview

. . . o.o merp. Scattered thoughts: Well that was very emotional and hit close to home because I've thought about life a lot of the way Ashildr has as some point or another. I have a philosopher personality. It'll be interesting to see her again...I'm glad she's coming back in the Raven episode. I h...

Re: Doctor Who Series Preview

So, this is an episode that answers some questions, and presents even more questions, and I think it is a pivotal point in the overall series arc. Thus, I've decided to write a more in-depth review of it. To simplify things, I'll sort everything into five categories: The Doctor, The Companion(s), T...

Re: Doctor Who Series Preview

Oh you're right! I forgot about that. This should be pretty good. *pulls up chair* --- Okay, well, that was amazing. See this is who Twelve is suppose to be. He wasn't himself last season. And Clara had some kinda weird stuff going on. (Still some good eps, it just felt a bit off.) This...this is Do...

Re: Doctor Who Series Preview

Ahhhh!
I wonder if that means the other two 'ghosts' are still alive somewhere. There wasn't a body left behind, after all. Then again, there was an explosion which is good at destroying. Tomorrow will be interesting!
And on a side note, Twelve's cue cards amused me so much.
