EDIT: And for the record, just because you wear makeup doesn't mean that you don't like who you are, or that you want to cover yourself up! That's certainly not why I wear it. I'm sure that's the case for some people, but not for most... I was waiting for someone to finally say that. ;) One has to ...

Anthony Smith was surprised... I must say, I almost feel sorry for the guy. His comment was totally blown out of proportion, and then they pretty much made him look like an idiot. What did he say? O_O I must have missed that... ETA: Oh, nevermind, the idea just struck me that I could look it up. :P...

Not that I'm surprised, of course... But that doesn't make it any less upsetting!

It seems I'm in the minority, here! :anxious: I wear makeup... Not ALL the time, but I do wear it most days of the week. And I don't wear much, just enough to smooth out my skin tone, and bring out my eyes a bit. :) So, I wear a bit of powder, mascara, usually a neutral eye shadow (although, I found...

I've always had good vision, until more recently.

With starting to work with computers more (in addition to my daily use of the computer for school, I also use them at work), I've noticed my eye sight deteriorating quite a bit.

So, I will be wearing them soon, if my own assessment is correct!

I don't know whether or not I told you guys (I don't THINK I did...), but we got a dog back in July, after our cat died (:(). So, even though this picture isn't of me, I had to share! I think I'd like to be an interpreter or translator (for French) of sorts... Something I've been increasingly interested in lately has been this - http://www.wycliffe.org/Serve.aspx (Scroll down to the "Parlez-vous Francais?" section) I doubt any positions will even be open once I graduate...

Probably my sister, my mom, my (maternal) grandmother, and one of the youth leaders at my church.

They're all huge inspirations in my life.

They aren't the only ones, but they're the most prominent ones.

I woke up at 9:00 yesterday, because I had to help make appetizers to bring with us to my aunt and uncle's house.

However, today I made up for it by sleeping until 11:30.

I don't remember which level I got to, or how much rice I gave, but it was fun when I did it! I sat there for probably an hour doing that a few weeks ago. My mom got hooked on it, too!

When I stayed with my host family in Quebec City, the parents and two older children spoke English (and French, of course), but the the other f...
