Re: When Do You Listen to Odyssey?

I like to listen to AIO in bed through my iPod, although more often than not I find myself dozing off and missing about half of an episode. This past Christmas I got a FM/car adapter for my iPod so now I listen to Odyssey on my way to and from work.

Re: Spotting (or hearing) AIO Actors

I've heard Jerry Houser's voice a few times on the radio lately, doing a commercial for local classified ads. One of Walker Edmiston's last roles was as Fire Lord Azulon during a flashback episode of Avatar: The Last Airbender . In addition to Animaniacs and doing voiceovers for AFV Jess Harnell was...

Prayers for my grandmother

Hey, everybody. Long time, no see  My grandmother and pretty much the entirety of my dad's side of my family needs prayers big-time right now. My grandmother had a major stroke last Sunday and right now she's in serious condition in the hospital. She can barely move her right arm and can't mov...

It's like shee - ou. :anxious: It's actually ecks-eye-oh . :noway: Actually, he first said 'shaow,' which is the more widely accepted pronunciation. (I heard it in a movie once, and I know it was 'xiao' because the subtitles were on.) I've usually pronounced it "zhao", like the character ...

Re: The origin of your username

Mine comes from my favorite book by Neil Gaiman. The title of the book itself is Neverwhere , and Ingress is a character in the book. Ingress is the younger sister of the book's female protagonist who is named Door. For a majority of the book Door believes that her entire family was killed, but just...

Re: Imagination Station VS> IM Revisited

For me it's Revisited. Like Leonard Meltsner I liked how the adventure flip-flopped between the viewpoints of the Hebrews and the Romans. I also liked the element of Kelly's reluctance to go through with the program once she realized what the story was and her constant wishing/attempts to get away b...

Re: Best music in an Odyssey Scene

<t>The music from Eugene's solo scene in the Imagination Station from "A Most Extraordinary Conclusion", and the scene where he and Whit pray followed by Eugene regaining his memory are both favorites of mine. The music from the first scene evokes the feeling of a rollercoaster ride while the second...

I believe that Blackgaard survived the initial blast, only to die from his injuries out in the woods...after pulling Jack to safety.

Re: Eugene Meltser

I think that because of "A New Era", it says that Joanne met Thelma 25 years ago, Eugene has to be 25. Joanne didn't say it was 25 years ago exactly; she said it was more than 25 years ago. Also, Eugene himself has said several times that his parents disappeared in Africa when he wa...

Probably since before he started playing the ukulele. I dunno; it makes sense to me that Eugene would have learned to play the guitar before he started playing the ukulele instead of picking up the ukulele right off the bat.

Rodney Rathbone: Oh yeah, and Kennedy didn't know anything about the plot to kill John Wilkes Booth, Jr. either.

it's just annoying to see our 'friends' completely ignore their own pasts. They didn't ignore their own pasts. It's not like history was erased or anything. Thank you, King Butter Turtle. I'm sorry, but this is what is aggravating me about some of the responses in this thread: the assumption that b...
