on Facebook it's either "I'm this person's friend" or "I'm not this person's friend", but Google+ is more like Twitter in allowing you to "follow" people while they don't necessarily have to follow you. Sounds very stalker-ish... I would imagine that there are security...

While not many people use it, Facebook does have a way to block posts from people. I did it once - I blocked a status message from my sister, mother, and father. Was it totally easy? No. But you can do it. So, it isn't like it is a totally new idea. The thing is, it just seems nothing is new anymor...
