I didn't think that the first were that bad. I just thought that the line was crossed during discussion of Whit's undergarments. I'll never be able to think of Whit the same way again . . . the mental picture was unwelcome. But at least it cleared up the age old "Whit: Boxers or Briefs?" ...

Cool picture. Actually, Richard looks about right to me. I always imagined his as looking like Eugene's evil brother or something. The only two that didn't quite work for me were Jellyfish and Eugene (though I can see why you chose those guys). I think Jellyfish needs long hair and some peircings or...

Video Interview with Pamela Hayden

This actually has nothing to do with AIO. It's an interview Pamela did about her role on the Simpsons (as Bart's friend Millhouse) but I thought you guys would still find it cool to actually see and hear her. http://www.movieweb.com/tv/news/77/19877.php (it's the 9th video down the page, though the ...

I'm guessing Spider-man 3 instead of POTC 3. Despite the fact that POTC 2 was one of the biggest earners ever, a lot of fans of the first film were put off with the second, so won't be seeing the third. Also, there hasn't been enough time between it and the second (which didn't come out on DVD all t...

You'd think the people in charge of marketing could've thought of a more interesting/less boring title, though. It's quite possible that was the working title when Tolkien started writing it. Yes, but remember the publishers were the one who called the last installment of LOTR "The Return of t...

Hopefully it's better than the Simarillian. The only good thing about that book was that it was easier to get all the references to ancient Middle Earth history in LOTR. Also the end chapter about Sauron's rise to power and the creation of the ring is moderatly interesting. I might read this new one...

Here's hoping the cover art isn't ugly. I was appalled back in the day when I saw that the first complete guide was covered with characters from the cartoon series. Anyone who's a big enough AIO fan to want the book couldn't care less about some ridiculous character who appears once in a non-canonic...

Besides the date of publication, and the obsurdety of the new topics, the other significant hint that it's a joke is the heavily satirical writing (such as "Producers had quickly assembled cleverly rhyming names for the characters and an extremely smooth plotline almost completely paralleling t...

And that's the reason I hated the Robert Mitchell story so much because we were told he was dead and had to go through all the motions. I'm always surprised that you were fooled by the whole Mitch thing. It was forshadowed since the end of PlanB part 2 by the ambiguity that Mitch's "death"...

Maybe both subjects should be left out of the classroom. If people want to learn about origins they can go to University or research it themselves.

Meat isn't the only reason they kill the dolphins. Plus the japanese are killing them in a very inhumane and awful way, slowly slicing through them with knives. I think this is a case where we can truly blame the japanese. Apparently they do a simmilar thing with cows over here in North America, so...

I don't like this storyline (I know most do - I just liked the reality of Eugene's loss of his parents and changing his background hurts if not the integrity of the show and it's earlier writers, certainly renders the time I've spent listening and investing in these characters shaky at best. That's...

I haven't seen any of these spoof movies, but reading the reviews it sounds like the humour is mostly recognition-based (like "haha, they put Jack Sparrow in this one"), not actually intelligent satire or parody. I guess that's why they can look kinda funny in the trailers, but once you se...

They were shooting the movie this fall in Vancouver (where I'm living right now). Yesterday our guest speaker at the Film School I'm attending was the prop-master from it (and also the X-men movies). It was sweet because he brought in some of the props from his movies and we all got to try on Wolver...
