It's a Wonderful Life!
You have to watch that at least once every Christmas season.

Re: Post the last AIO episode you listened to!
The Curse I listened to this a lot as a kid. We taped it from the radio, and on the other side was "Hold Up!" The first part of The Curse was cut off so it began with Connie saying, "...And it's also about to kill me," without knowing the context. The last episode I listened to ...

Re: Twin Peaks
Huge fan of Lynch, but for some reason I've never gotten around to finishing this series! Thanks for this thread. Now I'm inspired to do so. \:D/ Yay! \:D/ You guys who just start the series are in luck. You don't have to wait 25 or so years for the third season. They've just renewed the next seaso...

Re: Burning Question...
This was one of the eps that scared me as a kid. This, Castles and Caldrons, and "Beware"--that was perhaps the scariest moment to me.

Re: What is the last movie you saw?
I saw Captain America 2 on Friday. I downloaded it to rent on my iPad and had to delete a whole bunch of apps to do it. I'm glad I finally saw it.

I watched Divergent. I was kind of expecting to be let down, but it was really good and had a lot of action.

I just watched an X-file where they mentioned handicapped using brain waves to operate devices.
I read a book where it mentions someone named "Connie".

Lovecraftian? I knew it seemed familiar.
I have listened to maybe 7 eps. At some point I'll get around to listening to more, but I usually choose Odyssey when I want to listen to a radio program.

Twin Peaks
Has anyone seen this? It's a show that David Lynch directed from 1990-1991. Alas, they canceled it after 2 seasons, and on a cliffhanger no less. But it's a good show--quirky, atmospheric supernatural murder mystery in a small town in the Pacific Northwest. Kimmy Robertson (Penny Wise) plays a chara...

Re: Breaking Bad
I am wondering what the crossover audience is of Breaking Bad and Adventures in Odyssey ? :-k If Adventures in Odyssey was on Netflix, Breaking Bad would appear in the "Recommended For You" section. :noway: Really? Why is that? I finished watching it about a month ago. Watched it all on N...

Re: Robin Williams Dead at 63
I think Aladdin was the first movie I 'saw' him in as well. My friend said Robin Williams is in this movie and I had no idea who that was. :) The next one was Hook, and though I never owned that movie, I always looked forward to seeing it when I got the chance. Then we got Jumanji and my sisters and...

Re: Odyssey + the Real World
Today my sister and I were looking for books to take along on a trip, and there was one by Emerson. I thought the lines, "Emerson's essays!" -Eugene "Oh, that makes all the difference!" (or something) -Connie (I forgot the exact episode) And we mentioned Thoreau, and I thought, &...

Re: Odyssey + the Real World
A real real estate company???!
I saw a little boy, about 6, at the playground yesterday. Someone said, "Is your name Max?"
He said, "Yes it is. Maxwell Hardin Wells, that is." Just his precision of speech reminded me of a young genius, like a little Eugene.

Re: Divergent
I probably should go in Abnegation but I wish I had enough courage to go into Dauntless but I'd probably like it most in Erudite--I love to learn things. If it all didn't go wrong, that is.
