Re: Life, life
I’m going on vacation soon and yesterday I obtained my second nursing certification - specialty certifications that basically say I have special knowledge. It makes my professional name longer essentially lol. My mom told me I was the smartest in the family. After a 165 question test, I passed to be...

Re: Wonder Woman
I liked it a lot, but I do kind of wish they'd kept her origin to WWII instead of changing it to WWI, but maybe that was specifically to avoid quite as many comparisons to Captain America? Still it was cool to see a super hero movie (or movie at all, really) set in WWI. Poor underappreciated war. :...

Re: THOR: Ragnarok
The first Thor was what got me into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. And seeing a glimpse of Tom Hiddleston as Loki - I squealed all over the hotel room I was in. Good thing my mom was out of the room at that time ;) This is going to be fantastic. Sure, Marvel has had its up and downs, but I'm still v...

Congrats Anna!!!! Graduating college is such an exciting thing. I was so relieved when I got out from under the weight of books and started actually being a working member of society. And I swore up and down I would never go back to school, but I am debating whether I want to get my Masters in Nursi...

I won't lie, you all got dedication. I listen like, twice a year, in gigantic boluses of Odyssey because something reminds me of Richard Maxwell. This time it is Christmas, so my last episode today was Back to Bethlehem

Re: Life, life
I have a 10 page essay to write and it's haunting me everyday D: I did two of those my senior year of high school. The first one was really boring. The second one was really easy because it was all about me! I read it now and go "man how I have changed". I'm settling into my new apartment...

Re: What books are you reading?
I'm reading A Wrinkle in Time.
Hope to read "Born a Crime" by Trevor Noah as soon as I finish A Wrinkle in Time.
I sadly cannot read more than one book at a time now. It is sooo frustrating. I have like, eight books started, but can't seem to finish them -_-

Re: Life, life
Well apparently I'm helping one of my cats lick her own tail *shrug*. I'm cooking and baking up a storm. I had never used my crockpot since I got it two years ago until this week (lots of adjusting to feeding only myself). Mostly just reminiscing about childhood lately. Work, work, work. A nurse nev...

Re: Post A Picture Of Yourself
Just some updates from me.... The first picture ever of my new hair do back in... early July. (I was sick of my hair. Plus, I work on an oncology (cancer) unit in a hospital in Fargo, ND, so it was partly for my patients too): http://i203.photobucket.com/albums/aa108/Backstreetboysrule6/IMG_2372.jpg...
