Re: What books are you reading?
I'm starting "Moon Over Tokyo" by Siri Mitchell. I've really been enjoying re-reading through her older books and this is one of my favourites. I kept thinking about it as I was reading "Kissing Adrien," so I knew this had to be my next read.

Re: What books are you reading?
I have not had time to do much reading lately, but I am trying to make time for it. I am currently reading Between Heaven and Mirth, by James Martin. What a great book title! Sounds interesting. I'm reading "Style for Everybody" by Kim Appelt. It isn't the kind of book I would usually rea...

Re: Northern lights!
There was a suggestion to take pictures because the phone on your camera may capture more colours than you would see with just your eye My friends around the country have been saying they found that to be true, so definitely try it. For me it was the opposite though actually. I could see them in pe...

Re: Northern lights!
Craziness! I was hearing about this on the radio today. There was a suggestion to take pictures because the phone on your camera may capture more colours than you would see with just your eye or something like that - I didn't quite hear the whole thing, so your mileage may vary. ;) If anyone gets go...

Re: What books are you reading?
I'm currently enjoying "Chocolate: The Consuming Passion, Written, Illustrated, and Overresearched by Sandra Boynton" (her words, not mine.) ;) She's best know for great board books for little kids and her famous hippos, and she brings that great style and fun to a book for adults, helping...

I know someone who would love this! Not me but it does bring back fun memories of reading Nancy Drew books back in the day.

Re: Does anyone still play the old AIO video games?
That’s what I was thinking of. And I saw something about one that goes down to South America or something like that. All of them looked crazy old but I thought they might be cool. Think it’s worth getting? Did you play it when it came out in the early 2000s? If so that sounds amazing! Sorry, I miss...

Re: What books are you reading?
I just finished Positively, Penelope. I loved it, absolutely wonderful! I received the third and final book today but I'm going to put off reading it for a while only because I don't want the trilogy to end. I'm very strange because I do that with series or trilogies that I really enjoy. Ironically...

Re: What books are you reading?
The Siri Mitchell book I just finished reminded me how much I love her books, so now I'm trying to decide which one to read next! I've mostly settled on "Kissing Adrien," since it's been so long since I read it that I don't remember it that well.

Re: What books are you reading?
Yes Laurie, I agree that sometimes not liking a character is a sign of a good book if that was the intention! I'm reading "The Cubicle Next Door" by Siri Mitchell. Last night I went to examine my many unread books, determined to select one for my next read, and instead selected...a book fr...

catspaw, you could make me a mod so that i can edit everyone's posts to be triple posts Tempting, very tempting. My favourite sports/hockey writer (Down Goes Brown/Sean McIndoe) always advocates for Team Chaos so I can't help but consider this offer very seriously. Make the case for why this is a g...

Re: Madagascar
just me hijacking a topic that's old enough to vote.... Anyways, I saw Madagascar on an airplane today. It was pretty good although I definitely wouldn't watch it with a little kid. Woohoo! A thread I started in 2005 is still being posted in! \:D/ *pats self on back* I enjoyed reading through a lit...

Re: 10 CD Collectors Edition
Hi Xray12, welcome to the ToO! I saw this post earlier and forgot to reply. Is this what you're referring to? https://www.aiowiki.com/wiki/10_CD_Collector%E2%80%99s_Edition The image looks pretty old and the most recent episode listed is from 2001. I don't think I've seen this exact set. I wonder if...

Re: Percy Jackson and the Olympians
I've seen the new Disney+ series and it was pretty fun. Good action, family friendly, sense of humour, interesting characters. I haven't read the books or seen the former films, so I can't speak to how they compare.

Re: Does anyone still play the old AIO video games?
I used to play a super old AIO computer game where you made ice cream orders and stuff like that. Is that what you're thinking of or is this something else? At the time the game was moderately fun but not quite amazing.
