Re: What Did You Consume Last?

Yum! That looks great, Bren!

I just ate a bowl of raspberries and blueberries with milk as an evening snack.

Re: Odyssey + the Real World

Haha, nice!

I was going through some old stuff the other day and found some writing I had done back in grade twelve, including a nice piece about my love for AIO. It was fun to read through it.

Re: Life, life

Wow, congrats on your new job Bren! I hope that you enjoy it. I was a cashier in a grocery store for over a decade (while doing some other stuff too) and I miss it sometimes. I can easily see you blessing each customer with good service and a friendly smile!

Re: Favourite/Least Favourite Episodes

I haven't listened to the Club episodes, so I can't comment on them. I am a Club member, so I could - I just haven't yet. I really do think nostalgia plays a big part in how we view "old" vs. "new" episodes. I'm not saying there aren't other real factors as well, but I think it's...

Re: Questions for Catspaw

Oh my, that is both a nice compliment and a hard question! There have been plenty of times that I wish I was better at conflict resolution, so I don't consider myself perfect in this area by any means. One thing I do is to try to see things from different perspectives. Even if I still firmly believe...

Yes, I have had many people comment on my charming personality and uplifting spirit. My sweetness is unparalleled. You're welcome, Marvin.

Re: Horse Racing 2021

Wow, it does seem like it would be very unfair to penalize such a tiny amount, but I can see how they might want to make a statement to make sure that no amount is tolerated. It sounds like it didn't actually improve the race performance, so it sure would be a tough way to be disqualified if they st...

Re: Post the last AIO episode you listened to!

I listened to "The Other Side of the Glass" parts one and two recently, so I better listen to part three soon! I really enjoy Wooton and Bernard's interactions.

Re: Favourite/Least Favourite Episodes

My favorite (and I think a severely-underrated episode): Top This I know it isn't that flashy and it has a weird B-plot without any really top-tier characters. BUT Cryin' Bryan Dern's ridiculous attempt to boost his ratings never fails to make me laugh. I would have listened to a whole mini-series ...

I heard about the drug test on the radio this morning! Crazy. You clearly know a lot of background info, bookworm.

Re: Star Wars: The Bad Batch

I'm not clicking the spoiler tag because I haven't watched yet (thanks for using that, Monica) but I am really looking forward to it. I saw that the first episode was over an hour long and the second one was half an hour, so I assume that the first one was the anomaly and the rest will be a more con...

Re: What was the last TV show you watched?

That's fun!

I watched an episode of Hardy Boy - "The Secret Room." This one had a little more drama than some previous episodes. I'm still looking forward to the resolution - only three more episodes! \:D/

That sounds like a very reasonable price if it does what you need it to do! I'm glad you're pleased with your purchase so far, Bob.

Re: Sports Discussion The Good The Bad And The C'mon Man!

Luckily the owner can afford $250,000.

I know there are varying opinions on whether there should have been a suspension on Wilson or not (or how long it should have been), but at the least, a good explanation should have been provided by the NHL to put in more effort to head things off.

Re: pet snails

No, having snails as pets is all super duper normal and stuff... :anxious: :bolt: O:) Haha, I personally would not keep snails as pets, but I also have zero pets and intend to keep things that way. I think it's a lot better than snakes or spiders or other way ickier things that people think can be p...

I'm reading "Idaho Brides" by Erica Vetsch. It's one of those books that looked okay but I never actually got around to reading, so now's the time! It's sweet so far.

Re: Sports Discussion The Good The Bad And The C'mon Man!

There's a reason there was so much action in the penalty box that day. The previous game those two teams played against each other involved Tom Wilson of the Caps slamming a Rangers player's head into the ice after the whistle and in a way that was totally preventable and unnecessary, and he only go...

Re: What was the last TV show you watched?

I watched an episode of "Still Standing." It's a Canadian show where every week the host (Johnny Harris, a.k.a George Crabtree on Murdoch Mysteries) goes to a small town and then does a stand-up comedy show in the town based on what he learned hanging out with people in the town. It's lots...

Yum! I wish I was hanging out with Bren!

I just had some mint tea. I do not like tea and almost never drink it but every now and then I like a cup of mint tea.
