Let's go Panthers, let's go! (clap clap). \:D/ I was sorry to see Dallas go out in such a lame game six. Now we have a long wait until Saturday for the finals to start. I'm looking forward to it! I'm really busy this week so I might not even miss not having hockey almost every night...or I might go ...
I can see the appeal of Jason and Connie, but I can see the "more like siblings" idea too, PinkIsNotMyColor. The age gap was an issue for me too. I totally agree with you and Jason and Jillian are great together.
I finally watched this series and I liked it more than I expected to! I reluctantly decided to give the first episode a try when I saw a trailer and realized that the upcoming The Marvels movie would make more sense if I was familiar with Ms. Marvel. I figured if I didn't like it I would just stop w...
Woohoo! I successfully picked Pavelski as the OT winner. I really like Pavelski. I don't love Vegas, so I was happy to see Dallas keep the series going.
I still haven't seen any of the other movies or read the books. I kind of feel like the big popularity is over so it's interesting they're making a prequel, but obviously I'm not part of their fan base so maybe there's more of an appetite for this than I think.
I listened to "The Perfect Witness" part 3 (I listened to the other two parts last week.) Good times! I hadn't heard it in a while but I've heard it so many times that a lot of the lines were still very familiar.
You should definitely get caught up, bookworm! :D Don't watch it until you're caught up, though - I'm not sure how far behind you are. I don't think you need to be caught up on all the Marvel stuff (unless I missed or forgot about some little stuff) but you definitely will appreciate this movie a lo...
Actually, that does kind of make sense. You have definitely talked me around to the possibility of Buck leaving - though I still would find a temporary absence more likely than permanent.
Bookworm, I don't pay attention to horse racing, but because you post about it I always seem to notice when a race is happening. I saw it listed as airing today and thought of this thread. It still didn't make me watch, though.
It wouldn't be the most shocking thing ever for classic source material to be significantly altered in an attempt to make more money. I'm not familiar enough to have an opinion. Like you, bookworm, I'm a lot more interested in a good mystery than any kind of horror movie.
What a crazy long game! :thud: I stayed up for the first OT and then went to bed, where I then got really involved in my book and read for a while, then suddenly thought I should check to see who won before I actually went to sleep - and was quite surprised to see that the game still wasn't over! I ...
Thanks bookworm. If asked if I had seen "Murder on the Orient Express" I would have said yes. I forgot for a bit that it's a Poirot movie. I just saw it once years ago. I might eventually get around to "Death on the Nile" (which I also remembered was an Agatha Christie movie but ...
I still haven't read the books and I don't think I watched the earlier movies. I'm pretty sure I did the same thing as now - watched the trailers, thought they looked mildly interesting, and left it at that. ;) This looks a pretty creepy, which isn't really my thing. Just before I posted I remembere...
Do y'all think this is how the Jules–Buck romance gets resolved? Connie–Mitch style? I have been wondering whether maybe Eugene has to transfer the imprint of his brain into a computer or something...so he can have a different voice. But I think this is the unlikelier scenario, compared to having t...
What a great blast from the past! I had to read through and see what I said back in 2006. Good times! Dr. Watson did such a great job with this little Blackgaard classic. (And Laura too, of course.)
