Re: The Church's Roles
I think it's quite plain throughout the Old and New Testament that the role of the man is that of leadership, and the role of women is to encourage and supply help to the men. :) Last year I was made even more aware of this after listening to a seminar on it. So I was excitedly thinking about what ...

Re: Does Satan know we exist?
It's not so much that the church changes, but rather that the understanding that the church has of "the Faith" that God gave to the apostles (indeed once for always) does. Although the truth was revealed way back then, it takes us a while to grasp that truth and have it make sense to us. F...

Re: Internet Security and PREDATORS, oh noes!
I think it's jar more likely that the person you share your true identity online to will want to protect you, rather than harm you, if you are vulnerable. However, It's also more likely that the ones who would harm you will be the ones to attempt to learn your identity and vulnerabilities. So you sh...

Re: Communion
We have closed Communion in my denomination just because the rather specific nature of what we believe regarding the nature of the sacrament gives it a significance that requires one share the same faith in order to partake in. In the instances where I've attended other services, I've declined to p...

Re: Heaven and heck
That's true, it depends on what you consider a "traditional view". The view of heaven that you get from cartoons and movies is a bunch of people sitting around on a cloud with harps and a pearly gate with St. Peter standing by. Is that really based on facts that God has revealed?
