Re: A ToO Conspiracy!

Wish there were more oldies still alive here. Wait! Are you implying that some of the oldbies are not alive, and therefore dead? DEAD? :x LOL! We are all, indeed, alive, in the "we-live-in-the-real-world" sense of the word (at least I hope so.) Perhaps, I should have said I wish we were m...

Re: Soda? Pop? Coke?

I grew up in California, where most of us call it soda, but I remember we had a teacher from Oregon call it pop and, since I go to school in the South, I've heard it been called Coke all the time at restaurants. In Tennessee, you're either drinking some type of Coke product or sweet tea; Pepsi is ha...

Re: the|confectionary [part deux]

Oh my! I have some designing to do :)! Thanks for stopping by to visit! I will work on all three of the requests tomorrow :D! I'm glad you're enjoying your set The Kings Daughter. Please let me know if you want adjustments on anything. I didn't quite like how the avatars came out, so I'll redo them ...

Re: Heaven and Hell

I, personally, did not accept the 13 baptismal vows, but accepted the alternate vows you see below the thirteen, so I am not in open violation of anything. As you can see on the belief page you sited from the official denomination website, it does not claim that we are the remnant denomination and t...

Re: the|confectionary [part deux]

I'm done :)! Because you were my first customer, I made six sets for you (because I didn't really know what to do with the coffee shop art theme and so others can see my work) =]! They will only cost you $2.00. Please remember to credit me if you use any of them ^_^. I hope you like them! Also, let ...

Re: ToO Epidemic?

In my observation, a lot of forum frequenters have addictive personalities (as do I). So, once they become accepted into a group as great as the ones on the ToO, it becomes a big part of life (like it did for me). It's hard to just decrease your activity once you've posted on a topic. You feel like ...

Re: Facebook:

I can totally relate to SoccerLOTR. Once you get to college, that's one of the best ways to find out about events since everyone has one. It's how I find out which potlucks I've been invited to for after church service and how I know which birthday dinners are there for me to attend. Our college als...

Re: Church Camp!!!!

I'm going to church camp :)! But I'm going to be a counselor ^_^. I'll be there for three months, and since I've never actually been to camp, it'll be a brand new experience for me. Hope you have fun wherever you're going!

Re: Heaven and Hell

In response to the original poster, I believe as D.A.M. believes. I'm Seventh-day Adventist as well :). It's one of my favorite doctrines of our church because it's so beautiful to me. I have so much comfort knowing that the dead know nothing and that when Jesus comes again, the dead in Christ shall...

Re: The Praise Report Thread

Today God gave me $11,000. Seriously. I opened up my financial aid packet and I can afford junior year because he gave me $11,000 in grants - money I will never have to pay back. The rest of the tuition will be covered with the standard student loans (ewww..) and income, but mannnn - praise the Lord...
