Yeah as an 80's kid I heard a lot of Carman growing up. By the time RIOT came around I had moved on but there was a lot of older stuff I liked a lot, many mentioned here already. I think he was my introduction to DC Talk since he had them on a song back in the day before they made it big.

I would bring bookworm for the reasons you mentioned (I really like movie trailers), but also King Kong Sk8er, hakeber, and Mr. Whit because, why they are probably like all 30 now, I think of them as wild little kids posting on the board, so they are probably good breakdancers.

I always enjoyed what I heard--wasn't on local radio like AIO (which probably kept me from getting really, really into it) but we had a teacher or two in elementary school that played them for us fairly often.

I don't know how I totally feel about the direction of the Legendary Monsterverse, but I will assume more Godzilla is better than not more Godzilla.

I actually am not absolutely 100% sure if I made the specific movie comparison I have in mind now on here, but I know I’ve made it elsewhere, so I probably did.

I enjoyed it a lot. Certainly an aspect of that was having my five year old with me who is obsessed with Mario, but I’m sure I’d have enjoyed it without her! It was what I expected—simple plot and some decent action and jokes. Totally young child appropriate and friendly, IMO. But not like so super ...

I would be willing to try, haven't heard of it.

Over a year later, my current favorite brand is Ghost. A lot of those are good but Swedish Fish is probably my favorite.

It definitely seems that they aren’t going to completely mess things up and it will be passably decent… but I’m overly optimistic and have my expectations through the roof!

I'm not refusing to see this but I still can't gather much enthusiasm so I don't know if I'll actually make time to see it in theaters, with the knowledge that it'll be on D+ relatively soon, assuming they follow a similar timeline of the last few films. I'd totally boot it up and watch it in my rec...

I thought the Super Mario Bros. ad that went up on Youtube was going to be on, but alas it was not, so it can't be my favorite.

Off the top of my head, the Breaking Bad chip thing commercial was funny, recently rewatched the show so it was good timing.

Ha yeah I keep putting off calling the cable company. I cancelled my cable ages ago and just use internet through them, but discovered some random streaming TV package that they used to include for free with internet is now $25 a month. Of course that clearly can not be taken off by a chat represent...

Yeah I think they were trying to emulate Into the SpiderVerse with the frame-rate change in action scenes. It was odd but I think it worked.

But yeah it was a pretty fun movie.

Our meeting will be an adult next year!
