Mine is Puthenveetil. No, that's not a typo. Believe it or not I don't hate it. If I have children I would give them the same middle name becuase me, my cousin, and one of my uncles are the only ones left from my Grandfather's family that still carry the name, and we're a pretty big family... I meet...

First of all, the Army of the Dead was not "magic" per-se (sp?). They were cursed several thousand years previous to being used by Aragorn. The army that became the Army of the Dead had sworn alliegance to Gondor or Numenor (can't remember which). When they were needed, the call was sent ...

Re: My View of the Lord of the Rings

My only misgiving about the LOTR was the fact that A) There is magic in it, and God specifically warns against magic, witchcraft, and wizardry and sorcery. There was no magic used in LotR. Remember that "magic" is just a word some people use to describe supernatural events. All supernatur...

Ahh but how far back do you go??? Do you have heck is For Wimps by Newsboys? Do you listen to any of their old stuff? I don't have heck is for Wimps because I bought Read All About it and it was horrible. I wasn't introduced to them until Shine The Hits came out. After that I bought all the albums ...

The last game I got was Shadow The Hedgehog. It's really fun. The only thing I don't like is the mild profanity and the fact that there's no Chao Garden :boohoo: . Although my Gamecube sometimes stops reading the disk and I have to wait like a day to play or else whenever I beat a level it'll just s...

Yeah, I heard this a while ago. I'm not an Anne Rice fan really (to be honest, I never gave her a chance, other than seeing Interview with a Vampire...), but it's awesome that she is a Christian. I have heard, like jollyholiday said, that the book may not agree 100% with Christian faith, but still ...

Both LotR and CoN have Christian analogies. LotR's are less obvious, while CoN seems more of an allegory. Both Tolkein and C.S. Lewis denied their stories to be allegories, yet both discussed Christain parallels in their books.
