Re: a new whit?

I did not mean to sound rude. But I also like what Paul Herlinger said about not wanting the show to suffer if something 'unexpected' were to happen to him suddenly. I thought that was very thoughtful of him. While anything can certainly happen to anyone at any time, after a certain point, logistics...

Re: Labor Day lists!

Sorry, I make my own 'holiday' CD's using AIO episodes. I did a mother's day list and father's day list on this forum a few months ago. Now it's 'Labor Day'. I used to make my own cassette albums of AIO episodes by holidays as well. Labor Day was called 'Labor of Love'.

Re: a new whit?

I just listened to the PODCAST, I think Andre will work out. Any new actor is going to have a tough beginning with such a dedicated fan base, but I like what Katie Leigh said about his personality and feel he will become more comfortable as time goes by. I'm also much more inclined to purchase Darie...

Labor Day lists!

With Labor Day approaching, I've been working on my Labor of Love CD! So far, I have Good Business, Front Page NEWS, a Class Act, Chores No More, The Last Shall Be First, and Our Daily Bread. Any other suggestions? Sorry about the errors, my computer does not like the new webpage and I have to type ...

Re: Which voice actor do you think is the best?

My computer does not like the new webpage format so I cannot read the poll. But, Earl Boen is my favorite voice actor. He does evil so well, but he's also great as Edwin Blackgaard as well. He's also very versatile in the bible episodes. He reminds me of Vincent Price (showing my age again). jennifer

Re: The worst AIO episode!

Well, so far Fairy Tale-a-vision would have my vote. I actually like Lights Out at Whit's End, but then I am of the 'schoolhouse rock' generation, so maybe that's why. I also like Viva La Difference, KYDS Radio, and BTV episodes. I guess that's what makes AIO so great, there's something for every bo...

Christmas episodes

I was about to order Christmas Around the World from CBD, but wanted to first see if there were any other Christmas episodes not included on the two christmas cd albums. I have both of them plus Eugene Sings Christmas. My husband and I celebrate 'christmas in july' every year by listening to all chr...

Whit's intro

My husband and I were listening to AIO on a roadtrip from Sweden to Belgium. He is a new fan and asked if the intro of Whit was ever re-recorded with Paul Herlinger, or was the Hal Smith intro used throughout all the albums. Poor guy, he's never heard them in order. I guess some day we'll have to li...

actually, I wish they would make More Than Sundays into a CD album with the addition of It's a Pokenberry Christmas. that would be perfect!

I had not read Passages before so decided to do so when the challenge began. I confess I had to make myself finish Darien's Rise, but was rewarded with Arin's Judgement. It was GREAT! I find the stories of how Whit and Jack discover the journals just as fascinating as the stories themselves and can'...

Kidsboro

Frankly, I did not care for Kidsboro, but I am an adult listener, so maybe that's why. But I did like Album 50 and The Truth Chronicles very much. I look forward to seeing where Odyssey goes from here.

funny episodes

I just recently heard Lights Out at Whit's End. I thought it was hilarious and wish they would re-release it. It also has sentimental appeal now that Hal Smith and Walker Edminston are gone.

Other favorites are: All's Well with Boswell, License to Drive, Sunset Bowlawater, and KYDS Radio.

Clara

I was given the Good Grief cassette album when my cat died in 2004. That was the first time I heard many of the episodes on that album and as such most would make my top 20 list and some my top 10.

Another tough question.................

My first choice would be Passport to Adventure, second and third would be Virtual Realities and Darkness Before Dawn. I never got into the Novacom saga. The Blackgaard saga was my favorite! Earl Boen is the best!

Yeah! A cool episode would be with Irwin as a history professor or museum currator, and he is teaching the kids about history and the American Revolution. Does Odyssey have a museum? It seems to have everything else pretty much!

now THAT is a GREAT IDEA!

That was tough. I voted for The Search for Whit because it was integral to the continuation of the series. I like Aloha, OY for comedy and The Perfect Witness for suspense. That was a tough choice!

My first cassettes were Back to Bethlehem after I heard the episodes on radio.
