Re: Mental Health From a Christian Perspective

I see a therapist regularly. He's helped me understand myself. I have a better grasp on my emotions and can self regulate. It's also a safe place for me to process my thoughts. Christians sometimes feel that modern medicine replaces or minimizes faith. Cancer that disappears after prayer alone is a ...

Re: The Entire Plot of "The Ties That Bind". REVEALED.

Ok. A little different from what I had imagined, but this sounds good. I think it's just a little dark for AIO, maybe some of this plot can get moved to the spin-off show "The Connellsville Chronicles"

iPhone cases

Has anyone designed their own phone cases or tablet cases? I need a case for my iPhone and I was thinking about getting an AIO themed case for something unique and fun.

I started a design, but I'm not too good at it, so I was wondering if anyone on here would be willing to design one for me?

I say the greatest threat is a nuclear bomb, but that wasn't one of the options.

Re: Odyssey + the Real World

I got an email from someone recently telling me "I can forgive you for what you did to me." And I could hear David Parker's voice saying to Camilla "I didn't ask for your forgiveness." Also, I just seriously read an article with research by a Professor Boswell . That totally made...

Re: Anti-Christ Villain

This again? The thing that's so appealing about Dispensationalism (aka "Left Behind" theology) is that it gives you a sensational story of a fantasy-style, epic battle between good and evil. And then you miss the that the true battle between good and evil happens every day. We are constant...

Re: Emily Jones: Arguably the Most Controversial Character

I like Emily because she's annoying. I work with kids regularly. There are sweet, agreeable kids. There are loud obnoxious kids. There are bossy, know-it-all kids. Odyssey has the boldness to portray a bossy, know-it-all kid and they named her Emily. The thing about Emily is that she's believable. S...

^This.

Odyssey should be a discussion starter not a discussion ender.

Re: My brother and Odyssey

Well, I wouldn't blame the OAC. I spent the majority of my childhood without anyone but my siblings to discuss episodes with. And even then, they weren't into dissecting the episodes scene by scene. I certainly don't want to get into an argument--AIO is trying something new that may or may not work....

My brother and Odyssey

I recently joined the Odyssey Adventure Club (I know there's plenty of controversy, but let me just say it's totally worth it for me. ) and I was telling my brother and fellow AIO fan all about it. Then I remembered you can add users to your account, so I added him as a user a week ago. I saw him ye...

Re: Reviews of OAC eps?

So, is there going to be a place to review the OAC episodes? I'd really like to give my opinions on several of the episodes. This month's episode and featured ministry were especially meaningful to me.

Odyssey passwords

What passwords have been used in Odyssey?

Here are the ones I have so far:
destruct used by Richard Maxwell
applesauce used by Whit in Novacom
stiletto used in Green Ring Conspiracy

Are there others?

Odyssey Playlist for...Israel

I'm going to Israel in March. What episodes would you include in an Israel playlist? Episodes about traveling, about the land of Israel (pretty much every Bible story), about archaeology, about living in faith. I'm going to put together a playlist and want to hear your thoughts/suggestions/ideas. Ob...

At Home and Abroad! That was my first album and still my favorite: Eugene in Mexico, Connie and Lucy meeting an Indian Medicine Man, Eugene and Connie meeting Hank Murray, Bernard and Eugene as roommates. I could listen to this one over and over.

Re: Will You Be Joining The OAC?

I don't want to seem too hostile, because at the root of it, I think we both agree. The club is a good idea, especially for new fans who want to catch up. We both don't like the exclusive episodes. But simply based on that issue, I cannot and will not see this club as a positive thing. I can see po...

Re: Will You Be Joining The OAC?

Families would do much better to spend $15 a month to buy 12 new albums each year and then have the entire collection in 5 years. You're still thinking like a long-time fan. Set aside for a moment how awesome you already know Odyssey to be and think like a parent who has no interest in listening to...

I love it! Not only does this explain some huge logic gaps in Odyssey, it's also nice for the Doctor to know he's not the last time lord.

Re: Medical Center of Love

I decided to do NaNoWriMo this year. As a long-time Odyssey fan, I thought fan fiction would be the most fun way to write a novel, so I came back to this spin-off idea of Morales Place. So, if anyone has any ideas about what Jessie and her 5-7 young adult friends could do or exerience, I would be ha...
