Re: Wisdom Teeth
I only have three wisdom teeth! I'm just randomly missing two teeth in my mouth for no reason. The bad part is that I look stupid when I smile, 'cause I have five canine teeth. But I have one less wisdom tooth to have out whenever they come in.

Re: The Church Is Dead
That kind of logic really doesn't work when talking about prayer and Godly discussion. You can't say "well Christianity is dying in America so we'll just let it die and if people start to want it again then we can go a preach the gospel". I might be taking this metaphor a bit too far, but ...

Re: The Church Is Dead
You just don't see that too much on the ToO, people will pray, but since it's such a massive group not everyone is the best of friends. ;) It's a different community from CBH, I know they did that there alot. (Correct me if i'm wrong.) Yes they prayed a lot on CBH, and it wasn't just 'cause we were...

Re: The Church Is Dead
So if people don't post a message in response to your prayer request, that means they aren't praying? Not necessarily, but I don't know what people are thinking or doing if they don't respond. It doesn't comfort me at all to post something here when people don't reply. I don't know if I'm making an...

Re: The Church Is Dead
I've said this before, but, meh, I want a dollar! \:D/ I dunno, I just don't get it... maybe because I didn't grow up with the intrawebs... I get on the internet to goof off and have fun, I don't really even think of it as a place for serious things and prayer. I'd rather talk about prayer issues w...

But why should I post a prayer request when I know it's unlikely that anyone will pray about it?Trent DeWhite wrote:Where are you getting that inference, Sivart? No one's stopping you from posting prayer requests.

Re: Monopoly!
This thread makes me want to play Monopoly. Too bad my game and my semi-willing fellow players are a couple thousand miles away. :( If you looked hard enough, I'm sure you could find a site that allows you to play Monopoly online. ;) Awhile ago I looked very hard...I found a few "previews"...

Re: The Church Is Dead
I definitely agree that the church is sadly dead and I've personally been hurt when only three people prayed for my dying friend, and nobody responded when it was posted that she died. On other forums I enjoyed knowing that many people would pray whenever I asked them too, here since I know people w...
