Re: Re

I remember trying to read that when I was a lot younger. Yes, it was an interesting premise, but I hate the thought of outlawing books! Worse than cloning! I'm kidding, I'm just saying I LOVE books. I'll read it. Me too! I think that's why the book appeals to me so much... just kinda makes you thin...

We do have a similar topic here . I apologize... I thought I searched thoroughly, but I guess it wasn't good enough. i think it would be cool to get like a henna tatoo [one that comes off after a month or so..] :D Be careful with these... my cousin got one but the artist used cheap ink and he got a...

Tattoos

I have often been told that our bodies are God's temple(s). With that knowledge, would you say you're for or against tattoos, and do any of you have them? I do, and I don't think there's anything wrong with it. But I thought I would get your thoughts (if any) on the subject. I do know it's a touchy ...

Ten things huh? 1. I know ASL (American Sign Language) - almost majored in this in college. 2. I no longer attend college, I work full time for a living. 3. Reading is one of my favorite past-times. 4. I'm an LA Kings fan. 5. I prefer Mac over PC. 6. I can sing - was in the choir for approximately 9...

Wow Fenix, your friend doesn't sound very nice. Although I'm not one to judge. I block people for random reasons on my messenger, so long as they give me a good reason to. You sound like a nice person, so I'm wondering what your friends trip is? Give your friend some time, and maybe they'll come aro...

Fenix, I won't lie... moving is awful. I've moved five times with my family, and four times without. I will be moving yet again in a few months. For the most part, it was local - or at least within an hour or so of each other. The worst move was when we moved out of state and then back again. Whew!!...

True, I won't argue that point. But the whole point of a book is to use your imagination and to enter a whole other world beyond our reality. When I read a book and then watch a move adaption, I find that they have changed the charaters, the storyline, and everything else that I savored and enjoyed ...

I've noticed that Farenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury hasn't been mentioned. That's quite shocking, since it's one of my favorites. It's about a world where literature isn't allowed, people have to find entertainment by television and social events alone. A world where "firemen" start fires by b...

I'm personally a believer that books should not be made into movies... the book is ALWAYS better.

That being said, I will contradict myself, however, and say that Gone With the Wind would have to be the best, by far, if ever there was a movie adaption of a book.
