Coffee is a vegetable isn't it? After all, it comes from the coffee BEAN! :D Coffee really is an herb. It's good for folks that are having an asthma attack and have no inhalers or other relief, as it dilates the bronchioles and makes breathing easier. I believe it to be healthy for some folks and ha...

From what I understand the cream cheese & honey in a tortilla is a Middle Eastern dessert. Or, I guess the Arab flat bread is called something else. But this is a fantastic healthy and delicious dessert!
I'll have one with you, Candy!

Glasses are an awesome helper! Without them I'd have even more headaches than I already have. =) It's pretty wild how styles with glasses change......You see some that are very small. And then, lately, I've seen some huge sunglasses! I don't think it will be long till huge eyeglasses make their way ...

Isn't it crazy how the dumbest little songs can get stuck in your head? You know.....like "Itsy Bitsy Spider".....? When I just can't get a song out of my head that has no good meaning, I start singing "Jesus Loves Me". It helps! :D

Is it Garfield that says, "I'm not overweight, I'm just undertall". :D Drinking water helps! I've heard that you need to drink enough water to equal half your weight. For instance, if you weigh 150 pounds, you need to drink 75 ounces of water. I like the theory of eating for my blood type....

Sometimes girls wonder why young men won't hold the door for them. I've heard it said that the lady has to BE a lady and ALLOW the man to be a gentleman. Not that we can't do it, it's all about respect. We, ladies, are the weaker vessel (as the Bible says) and the men need to know they are the stron...

I have a friend that used to sleep walk. One morning she woke up and all the sheets were off her bed and in the hamper. For some reason, she stripped her bedsheets when she was sleeping. Sometimes I hear my daughter quoting the Odyssey episodes as they are being played. I have to stop and ask her where she lives. I'm thinking that one day she'll slip up and say "Odyssey" instead of her actual location. :D

Watch out for The Bible on tapes/CDs at yard sales. They also have some good deals on ebay. It's an awesome way to be able to listen to God's Word throughout the day. Hey - it even makes cleaning up your room less boring. :D

Very cute baby! :D It's so interesting how babies are born as an empty blank page. As they grow, they are taught new things and start to imitate. In fact, they love to do what the "big people" have done! That gives us so much responsibility to give them a good example to imitate, doesn't i...
